Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Checkout is at 10am.
Please strip beds that were slept in. You can leave the bedding in that bedroom once you have stripped bedding. Place trash in the outside trash receptacle.
Please place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher, please. Place dirty towels/washcloths/dish towels in the washer & start the washer please.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The nice, small touches show that the hosts are considerate. The house is very comfortable and the back yard/ yard is well maintained with a couple of nice areas to sit and gather. Visiting and touring

We came to South Dakota to visit my son who is in the USAF. This house was centrally located to all of the National Parks and scenic views. Great hosts and excellent amenities.

Family Vacation Hub

It was exactly what we needed after long days of adventure and togetherness to unwind in our separate spaces. I wish the kitchen table would have been larger and more appropriate for a family of 7, but the home overall met our needs and helped to complete our wonderful vacation experience.

Thank you! Unfortunately we have explored other options for a bigger table & we haven’t found one that is feasible for the space. The home is so accommodating for bigger groups…with the exception of the dining table. I do wish the dining room would be about 1 foot wider, but thankful for the additional breakfast bar to accommodate a few extra bodies. Thank you for staying!!!! We would welcome you back any time!!!

Perfect Basecamp!

This house was perfect for our stay in Rapid City! It was well appointed, comfortable and gave us great access to all the places we wanted to visit. Laci, the host, was phenomenal and graciously offered to help us out when we found ourselves in the middle of an unexpected situation. We look forward to staying at her place again in the future!

It was an amazing stay. It was only about 3.5 miles from the event we were attending and within 5-6 miles from amazing food places. Overall the place was very nice. One thing we did want to mention is not a negative thing but would have been nice to know. We understand that renovations need to be made to ensure the property is maintained. It was just a surprise that the bathroom downstairs was under repair. It was just a shock to walk in and go "Wow!" I need to mention this did not affect our stay at all but a little communication says, "Hey, by the way...!" This would have gone a long way.We still give this a 10 out of 10! Thank you for an awesome stay! We definitely enjoyed it and will recommend to anything we know going to this area!

Great for Large Families

Our family of 6 stayed at this property for 5 nights. The house set up super well for a larger group. 5 bedrooms left everyone in our family with their own space. The house was updated, clean, brand new deck with wonderful fenced in backyard. Location was a great jump off point for Black Hills, Rushmore, Custer Park, etc. Would absolutely stay here again.

Exactly what we needed!!

Rented this house for our bucket list trip to the Sturgis motorcycle rally. It was the perfect location to enjoy all there was to see and do! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the common areas were what we needed. Although we didn’t meet the host (Laci) we did communicate with her several times. Our calls and texts were answered immediately!! I would certainly stay at this location again if I were to return.

Warm Hug

After a 24hr drive from GA to Rapid City, walking into this home felt like a warm, friendly hug. Laci was very helpful in all her responses & answers to our questions. The home is lovely, and lots of extra touches that made it feel like home. Check-in and check-out processes were super easy. If ever in the area again, will definitely stay here.

Great Place

This was a perfect place for our family! Spacious and comfy. The kids were thrilled with the number of bedrooms! The coffee/tea/creamer/condiments were so nice to have on hand. The place is still in the process of updating and they are doing a fantastic job. I think it will just get better. It was in a nice quiet location and easy to get on the road for all of our day trips/excursions.

Great location and Laci's communication was great.

Traveled with family to watch niece play Hardrockers' basketball. House was close to airport and campus. House was great. The owners were very easy to work with. This house is great for family trips. We had to deal with the December blizzard but this house would be a great spot for a summer vacation since it's proximity to National Parks and some great hiking. We would definitely consider renting again for our next trip.

Comfortable stay

Place was located outside of Rapid City, with easy access to a variety or W. South Dakota tourist type destinations. House was exceptionally clean and had everything we wanted. Ample backyard size if you have kids. Comfortable environment upstairs and large couch downstairs. Only things to probably update are the beds downstairs were a bit uncomfortable and the temperature differences between up and downstairs are noticeable. Regardless, a very nice stay and would stay here again if returning as I know these items will be addressed.

Thank you so much! We would be happy to host you again! I hadn't heard from anyone else that the beds were uncomfortable downstairs. We will absolutely try to get feedback from others on this specifically, as beds and comfort levels are all over the place...but really good item to know in case it comes up again with anyone. Temperatures also tend to be one of those things that some people prefer the basement for it's cooler temp and some people like to be in the warmer rooms upstairs. (I prefer the warm...while my husband prefers cold!) For those who might book in the future, we do have a radiator type heater available if those in the bedrooms downstairs get uncomfortable, and we also have a fan available for anyone who likes to be cooler. We will definitely have an HVAC person over soon, though, to address some of the previous owner's ummm minor DIY HVAC items! :-) Thanks again for staying with us and for your honest feedback! Every little thing helps to make us better hosts to our guests!!!
