About this property

Coco View Villa is situated on a lush hillside overlooking both the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Our reviews say it all, this villa is just like home in a Caribbean surrounding!
We are located in an eco-friendly environment close to the international airport (no noise at all) and beaches of white sand that are famous for kite and wind surfing! All amenities available within 10 minute drive. There is great local dining as well.
This scenic villa is abundant in flora and fauna and you can just sit on the deck and enjoy the beauty all day and all night long. The sunrises and full moons are incredible as they shine across the ocean. The breeze is regularly fabulous and wonderful to have in the Caribbean heat! The villa faces the south east which provides great natural breeze and shaded temperatures in the afternoon! Direct Caribbean afternoon sun can be stifling. This villa has the ultimate Caribbean exposure! The view truly is spectacular; we've been told numerous times that it's one of the most incredible on the island.
The unit is completely furnished with modern high quality furnishing and is completely private. Guests have laundry access, amazing wifi, cable and all the amenities of home!

Each balcony deck is private and the Palm Suite has 500 sq ft of outdoor balcony relaxing space. The villa is situated on a half-acre of beautiful palms, flowers, and fruit and vegetables for your enjoyment and dining pleasure! In the season, we can also arrange for crab and lobster dinners! All types of cuisine available including fine West Indian Caribbean cuisine. We are currently offering amazing local cuisine, ranging from 3-5 star, your choice.
The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There are 4 fresh water springs on the hillside and two of them are used in bottling Bamboo Springs water. It's a small plant hidden in a banana farm higher up the hillside. Morning walking tours can be arranged, 5 kms in the countryside area with challenging hills (if desired).
We have local inexpensive taxi service to the beach or you can take the local bus ($1.25 ECD). It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Rental cars are readily available and if you’d prefer a driver, that can also be arranged daily or for the week.
We have a variety of hiking trails that can be either easy or challenging. You can start right from the villa or visit other great hiking areas, for example the World Unesco Heritage Site Gros Piton. The hikes can vary from 1/2 to 4 1/2 hrs.
We know many of the local business & restaurant owners and can get you some fantastic food for excellent prices. We can also get you personal and discounted tour prices.

If your pleasure is relaxing, you can enjoy the spectacular view from one of our decks. Enjoy our swinging chairs while sipping on your morning coffee or happy hour rum punch!

It would be hard to find anything to complain about regarding our stay with Ken and Diane at Coco View Villa in Vieux Fort, St Lucia. On our daily check-in about activities, we learned insider tips about the community. We loved the locals’ beach in the next town up, enjoyed chicken with “bakes”, grilled fish and pork from local restaurants, and on their hibachi. We did enjoy some of the touristy things, the botanical garden, and the Hotel Chocolate Tree to Bar tour as well as a day of snorkeling. But the highlight was the comfort, beauty, and generosity of the hosts. Retired from the Canadian military, they built their home on a steep rutted road in an amazing neighborhood halfway up a mountain. You’re awakened by roosters and the barking neighborhood dogs who also help put you to sleep at night. if you are people who want to get away from the all inclusive, don’t mind driving a rental on spectacular winding roads, and would enjoy being greeted warmly by your hosts and their friendly pooches, you receive our highest recommendation.

Great view Diane and Ken great hosts became friends. There are a lot of dogs in neighborhood. St Lucia has many things to see

Perfect Stay

We were at Diane and Ken’s Villa for a 2 week stay while my significant other volunteered at St Jude’s Hospital. We had a wonderful time. Our two bedroom was awesome. The view of the ocean from the porch was beautiful. When we’re at the Villa, we were often out on the porch or with French doors open. There was always a steady breeze which kept us completely comfortable despite 80+ degree weather. The place had everything we needed. We even were able to even get limes and eggplant from the garden. Diane was away during our stay. However Ken was an amazing host. He took us to local barbecue spots and was an absolute wealth of information. We had a wonderful time hanging out with him. The pool was refreshing after a day of hiking. We feel so fortunate to have stayed at the Villa and will most definitely return.

Ken and Diane, we are retired Canadian Forces officers who sailed from Canada to St Lucia where Ken was born prior to immigrating to Canada with his family in 1974. During our first visit to this beautiful lush island, and upon seeing this hillside property overlooking the Atlantic Ocean Savannes Bay and the Caribbean Sea to the southwest, we fell in love and knew it was ideal for a villa and relaxation!
We are an easy going flexible couple who love hosting guests, we provide whatever our guests desire, be it tourist information, personal tours and/or complete privacy.

Why they chose this property

This property is situated on a southeast lush hillside with a spectacular view overlooking both the Atlantic ocean and Caribbean Sea. It is accessible to all amenities, close to the International airport (10 mins) and the 2nd largest town on island, Vieux Fort.
It is a local experience, the neighbors are friendly and many provide small rum shops and local food stands. The surrounding gardens are lush with both seasonal and all year round fruits and vegetables! You can hike in the hillside, free of traffic and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the island!
