Great property but stingy owners.
The owners listing did not match the what they actually offered us. The house listing description advises that the pool is not included in our package but if we do want to use it, the owner will arrange it for you. That was a lie. We requested the pool because no one had booked the other side of the house during our stay & she told us to pay an additional large amount to use the pool for ONE NIGHT. The house also listed that it had a barbecue set available. It didn’t. We had to buy one the day before Christmas for $400 in a panic! The couches and floors still had a few drink marks on it when we checked in (I took photos). The host and her husband were not willing to compensate for all these things by giving us access to the pool free of charge, they just had excuse after excuse or would ignore my requests. Every time I messaged her after we had checked in, she would take 2 hours to respond, or she would ignore me completely or message the next day. I was completely reasonable and respectful through this whole process but they did not reciprocate it back. All the 4 bins were full when we got there but we still carried all the bins out (they were extremely heavy & we had to carry them up stair cases or we risked getting charged more.) There’s so much more that disappointed me. I just wished they had been more lenient with us and less obnoxious.
Overall, I wouldn’t book again. My family of 10 were really upset about the pool not being offered to us despite us paying double for the house & not getting half the things advertised.
