About this property

Spring Special!! 2 Night Min, Full Remodel, Close to wineries and downtown

WELCOME TO TEMPLETON!
LaGrange is perfectly located in sweet Templeton and is the bordering neighbor, south of Paso Robles. Just off the 101 and Vineyard Drive, country roads and vineyards await your arrival to your home away from home. Your biggest worry will be what you and your gang want to do first. Our home offers easy drives to many options to make your stay enjoyable. Wineries go without saying and are a must, however there is so much more! Horseback riding through a private ranch, Sensorio - Field of Lights, Cambria on the coast, Avila Beach and the historic towns of Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero. It's not uncommon to see a truck with bails of hay or a car with a surfboard on the roof all in the same day!

LAGRANGE - The House
Enjoy country living with everything fun, family, friends, foodie and Fido friendly all under one big loving roof! This comfy one level, newly remodeled ranch home lives on an acre of property with firepits, a swimming pool, a tire swing and dining amongst the grapevine trellis, games, plus a hammock. Bring the the kids, the pups, the folks and anyone else that will enjoy this home with a open door and loving walls.

SWEET DREAMS - The Rooms
The "Big Room" has a rustic barn siding feature wall with a king sized Sleep Number bed, with private access to the patio, with a garden/pool view. The en-suite bathroom has a stone double vanity with a blue tin ceiling and a pebble stone shower/ toilet room, all feeling a bit barbershop meets saloon.

Next is the "White Room", a bright sunny room offering a queen sized iron frame bed with a barn door - walk in closet including a portable crib. The custom built in shelving, plus a hidden desk, along with a window seat offers an irresistible invitation for a book and a cup of tea.

Keep on down the hall is where you will find "Guest Bed 2", another queen sized Puffy bed with a woodsy shiplap wall and cabin chic bedding, tranquilly decorated with a peaceful vibe.

The shared guest bath has a shower/tub combo begging you for a soak after horseback riding or bubble time for the littles. A tall skylight makes for a great make-up session too!

The "Nook" is the final bedroom which is just off the kitchen and laundry room. The Nook has a daybed/trundle along with a writing desk. A great room for the kiddos, friends or a couple. The two twins can be connected to make roomy queen sized bed. There is a door in between the nook and the laundry room, offering privacy for digital nomads, homework, napping and story time, (books, toys and puzzles included).

The "Laundry Room" is a multipurpose room, offering a sink with a mirror, perfect for teeth brushing, washing up, and is a good spot for Fido's gear. There is a door in between the laundry room and kitchen, along with a keyless digital back door, helpful for easy grocery drop off and kicking off muddy shoes.

LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and DRINK WINE - The Living Spaces
When you arrive and walk in the front door, we hope you feel like you're somewhere familiar but different all at once. An open room that is the heart of the house welcomes you in with a home hug. The open comfy layout greets you with a no fuss dining table seating 6-8 people along with four more seats at the 2 huge quartz peninsulas keeping everyone eating together. The bay window with a pool and garden view has a little sweetheart table is often used for early risers, sipping coffee(or mimosas) before the house wakes up.

You won't miss the the brand newly remodeled kitchen thoughtfully designed for any level of cooking. May it be a cheese quesadilla or beef burgundy made with amazing local wine, we hope you adore it. We love to cook, so we tried to think of everything you need to cook, bake or order in. And if something is not stocked, we will supply it for you, just let us know. Highchair and kids dishes are included. Be sure to try the cork game, see how many corks you can toss in the champagne bucket on the shelf...swoosh!

You will see the living room from all angles too! There are 3 couches for plenty of lounging, visiting, and sleeping(the couch against the barn wall is the sleeper). The 60 inch Smart TV,( Roku stick included) is compatible with any streaming device. The fireplace is gas, only meant for adults to operate please. Perfect for chilly nights or mornings. You will notice there isn't a coffee table provided, it felt cramped. The big table is better for games, cards, puzzles, and Charley the highland cow won't look a your cards!

OUT ON THE RANGE - The Outside
LaGrange has a wonderful yard with something to do for every season. Wine country's weather varies, so the pool is seasonal. Dining, firepits, hammocking under the grape trellis, tire swing, BBQ and cornhole are available all year. Fall is so beautiful with fire red leaves bursting like fireworks and winter takes a different turn with bare trees basking under bright blue skies. The sunsets from the front porch are so beautiful, you won't stop staring.

CATTLE DOGS -The Dogs
We are dog friendly and would love to host your pups.
We require a $100 pet fee total, not per pet or per night.
Please let us know so we can plan ahead. Size does not matter.

RANCH OFFERINGS - The Amenities
We offer most toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, individual soap bars, body wash, first aid, cotton swabs and if you forget a toothbrush we have those too.
The pantry in the kitchen has spices, olive oil, vinegar, both drip coffee and pods, a Nespresso machine, a tea pot, plus tea. In addition, creamer, regular and raw sugar packets, green and blue fake sugar and real honey are provided as well.

JUST YONDER - The Immediate Area
Trader Joe's is 2 minutes away and is the best one ever! Along with TJ's is a Human Bean drive up coffee hut, yummy breakie sammys and the best latte`s. Pier 46 has fresh fish and closes at 7:30, not open on Sundays. There is also Merry Hill coffee, yummy too, J&R Meats and IKES sandwiches, all in the TJ's lot.
Downtown Templeton is like going back in time, yet having all modern needs and desires. McPhee's is the steakhouse, reservations suggested. Jack's Grill and Joe's Place are both delicious and local. Griff's Pizza, Templeton Donuts Plus, and Kitchenette are a great for everyone. Wine drinkers should visit 15C Winebar. All of these establishments are on Main Street, which is 1.5 of a mile from the house!
And for livestock, smack dab in the middle of town is Templeton Feed & Grain an operating grain mill, busy every day...giddy-up!

Wine Country Gem
A family gathering for the matriarch of our family who lives locally brought our party of 10 to this lovely property. The home was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed. There were games for the kids, plenty of space to sleep and relax, both inside and outside and the kitchen had everything we needed for family meals. We didn’t want to leave. The home was nicely decorated and furnished as well. I highly recommend this property for any group who is thinking of staying in wine country.
