"A fed bear is a dead bear" as the saying goes. (And yes! We get bears!) Bears that are habituated to eating human food become dangerous and are often euthanized by the authorities. For bear safety, do not leave ANY food or trash outside OR in your car, particularly at night.

About the host
Hosted by Shelley Conger

I am an outdoor enthusiast, tree huger, and animal lover. My favorite days are spent in the mountains with my husband and friends. I hike, kayak, snowboard, snowshoe, cross country ski, and travel as much as possible. My idea of relaxing is planting flowers and otherwise tinkering in my garden. I start my days with a big cup of coffee and finish with a nice red wine.
