Convenient Location with a Great View
We rented this house to attend my grandmother's funeral. It was very convenient to the locations we needed to be at for the funeral and visiting family. The home was a great size with plenty to do to keep the children entertained. I would stay here again but hopefully under better circumstances.

2nd Time Staying Here
Home is very well appointed and meets our needs and expectations. Kitchen is well stocked with necessary small appliances, dishes, etc. Home is well maintained - had a small issue with the fireplace and Vacasa sent out a technician the next day. Close to shopping and local attractions. Will definitely book again.

Lake Emory getaway
The house was beautiful and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The fishing, on the other hand was not what we expected. We had a 2 to 3 foot section at the bank to fish from. This did not accommodate the 4 people that wanted to fish. It would have been great to have had the yard mowed as well.

Family trip
The house itself is very pretty. The kitchen is big and well stocked with dishes and utensils. Parking is ample. However, the house was not clean. None of the rugs appeared to have been vaccumed, the downstairs shower liner and curtain are moldy and have yellow water stains. The shower has rust spots on every shelf that could easily be cleaned with Bar Keepers Friend. The towel that goes outside that shower was dirty when i unfolded it. The listing boasts the lake, fishing, and the huge yard. The lake is barely 2 feet deep and therefore unfishable. Not to mention how over grown the area around the lake is, making it impossible to get close to. The yard, steps, and parking areas are severly overgrown, so we didnt get to use the yard or yard games provided. We contacted VACASA about the yard and were told there was nothing they could do. So we were stuck waiding thriugh weeds the whole time. Overall this house is cheap but large. Plenty of soace and blankets, and the indoor entertainment was nice. But the property itself is being neglected. They even have plant life growing in the gutters! I would not recommend this place unless you dont mind weeds, grass up to your knees, and want something cheap for a group.
