Ways to Explore Dog-Friendly Franklin with Your Pup: Dog-friendly hikes in the Smoky Mountains: No visit to the Smoky Mountains is complete without a hike! Most trails are pet-friendly so long as your furry friend is leashed and cleaned up after. If you’re not sure how much of the trail your dog can manage, we suggest starting with a shorter hike like the one-mile Rufus Morgan trail, Cliffside, Whiteside, or (if you’re looking for a bit more of a challenge) the four-mile Bartram trail. Dog-friendly restaurants: Motor Company Grill—not only will you relish the old-timey diner’s burgers and shakes, but Fido also gets a menu of his own on the pet-friendly patio! The Lazy Hiker and Currahee Brewing—which have large patios for you to kick back with a beer and some food-truck nachos to share. Dog parks for leash-free romps: Franklin has a brand-new dog park on Phillips Street, just down the hill from Main Street. It features separate spaces for big and small dogs, public restrooms, and even a walking trail around the exterior for those who’d like to stroll during the walk.

The place was perfect for 5 guys on a motorcycle trip to the mountains with a large garage to easily fit all the bikes to keep them out of the weather. Plenty of room to spread out in the living room for movie nights and sun room for morning coffee. The host provided great communication before and during the stay. Definitely plan to stay again.
Everything was perfect for a family adventure! If you're looking for a welcoming environment in a homie home .... Where family can relax and play together, than this home is beautiful! The owners were so kind and had everything in perfect condition, with even Christmas decorations to welcome is to the environment. We loved our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the Reagan House. It was easy to find and very convenient to the highway, to downtown Franklin and to hiking. Our daughter loved the game room downstairs. Wonderful place to stay.
5th year visiting here with the family and still loving it. David the property manager is great! Planning to revisit again next year and would highly recommend to anyone else as well.
We were a large group that came from Alabama for the MiniTruckin show in Maggie Valley. This house is very spacious and the amenities fit our group. The house was very clean and more than comfortable. Checkin process was great and owner met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this property.
This was our 4th stay in the Reagan house and, as usual, it was wonderful!! There were 7 of us this trip and there was plenty of room for us all. After being out all day, we piled up on the couch in front of the fireplace and played games. A great house for families. David is a wonderful host, always quick to respond and to do whatever was needed to make our stay comfortable. Thank you, David!!
