The best of Historic Amelia Island meets modern convenience in this loft at 306 1/2 Centre Street! Located in the heart of Fernandina Beach and just 3 blocks from the intracoastal waterway this apartment offers the comforts of home in a truly walkable downtown setting. This home is perfectly appointed for snowbirds, digital nomads, or those on work related travel assignments!

The living space is furnished with a super comfortable oversized sectional sofa, a large flat screen TV and dining table with seating for 6. The space is sunny and bright with large windows overlooking Centre Street. It's the perfect spot to watch the big game or to relax with a movie!

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is a balcony with a table and chairs and a view of the courtyard below.

The bedroom with its king size bed and a full bath featuring a walk-in shower, stall rounds out the space. A queen size Murphy bed provides additional sleeping space in the living area. There is also a washer and dryer for added convenience!

Downtown Fernandina Beach hosts numerous events throughout the year including “Dickens on Centre” in December, the “Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival” in May and the “Sounds on Centre” concert series held on the first Friday of each month April through October. Many local favorites are just steps away including “The Book Loft,” “Fantastic Fudge,” “The Salty Pelican” and “Amelia Island Coffee” just to name a few!

Lovely place

We stayed in Feb 2024- loved the “downtown “ location for the most part- great for dining and music at night. The location was perfect for us- easy enough to get to the beach, dining, shopping , yoga and pickleball. Can be a bit noisy til about 11p on weekend nights but you benefit from a ringside seat for the Green Turtle! Living room is great , kitchen a bit dated- and you go thru the bedroom to reach the kitchen - they could also use some additional cookware , supplies but overall it was workable.
