If you love the outdoors, this is the perfect Pocono area house to visit! Our house resides in a private community, a 12 minute drive to Camelback Mountain for winter fun, and a 3 minute walk to the lake for summer fun!

Come explore this cozy no-frills mountain house all year long and bring your hiking boots, kayaks, fishing rods, swimsuits, snowboards and skis!

Our place is very pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companion!

This should go without saying, but please - no unattended fires!

Brand new oversized deck and level 2 EV charger added early 2026!

Oh, and for those of you curious - Bernie is our puppy!!

Very nice property as advertised. We enjoyed our weekend there. Very relaxing and went into Jim Thorpe for a day and had a great time. My daughter even got to spend some up close time with the deer nearby.

We had such a great stay! The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and the lake and views were probably our favorite part. Our dogs had an absolute BLAST swimming, exploring, and just being outside. We also loved seeing the deer so close by and being able to feed them. Theodore was an awesome host and went above and beyond for us. We had an issue with the TV one night, and he actually went out and got us a Roku stick that same night so we could use it. We really appreciated how responsive and accommodating he was!The house was also extremely well stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made the stay so much easier and more comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought was put into making sure guests have everything they need.The lake was gorgeous during the day and even more beautiful at night. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with family. We made some really great memories here and would definitely come back!

What a wonderful place to stay! The lake was a very short walk away and stores were just a short drive. I would highly recommend Bernies house to anyone looking for some much needed time away.

NICE QUITE TIME

It was nice getting away to this quite house and neighborhood. Deer walking in back yard was nice to watch. House was clean,easy to find and we loved the large tub and pool table.

Awesome stay!!

Overall the property was very homey, my partner and I loved the place. The only thing we had a problem with was the insects in the home from the kitchen window being open when we arrived. Other than that awesome stay.
