We would love to have you as our guest in our brand new couples cabin! Caveside Cabin is located less than 2 miles from Hocking Hills, Ash Cave (the largest, most impressive recess cave in the state). It is close to all the major attractions in the Hocking Hills area. Caveside Cabin is a couples dream! Relax by the gas fire pit, cook dinner on the gas grill and simply relax in the new sport edition hot tub. This fully furnished cabin is the perfect getaway!! Distance from popular destinations: Ash Cave 2 miles, Cedar Falls 4 miles, Old Man’s Cave 6 miles, LePetit Chevalier Vineyard and Winery 4 mile, Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls 1 mile. Let us help you have a memorable vacation.

Other things to note:
There is one operational security camera located at the front door in the form of a Ring doorbell which records both visually and audibly. This camera is facing the driveway. The camera is not monitored. It is there for your protection and the protection of the cabin when unrented. There are no cameras on the back patio or inside the cabin. We take your safety as well as your privacy very seriously.

Very nice cabin. Convenient location to most of the trails. If your looking for secluded and off the beaten path this isn't the cabin, but if your looking for easy to get to and convenience this is perfect.

We had an amazing stay at the Caveside Cabins! Rondel was wonderful to work with! These cabins are easy to get to, excellent proximity to the hiking trails, as well as a quaint winery up the road. We spent long days hiking the beautiful trails and enjoyed coming back to a well-equipped cabin to relax. Rondel also provided wonderful suggestions to help us make the most of our time. Thank you, Rondel, for an amazing getaway, and we can't wait to come back!

Pure Bliss

A perfect oasis away from the world. The cabin is in the perfect location to get to all the amazing hikes ad views. The cabin was cozy and clean. It was secluded and had everything we needed. Rondel was an amazing host. We will be back!

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The owner made it very easy to communicate and made it easy to check in and out. The cabin is newly remodeled and has all the perfect touches. There were many little things that made the cabin feel welcoming and homey! The view from the back porch is amazing along with the hot tub and fire pit.

The perfect weekend getaway

The cabin was beautiful, super clean and very cozy! The owner was great to work with, sending email communications about a week before our stay, a text message the day of our arrival, and an invitation to reach out at any time with questions or concerns. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and we look forward to returning soon!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was clean and well-equipped for our stay. We loved the extra touches like the cute decorated tree for the holidays. Most impressive was the host’s kindness and responsiveness. We had a little welcome gift basket with snacks and when lost internet due to a storm our host Rondel actually drove out to fix the issue. She truly went above and beyond!

Great Experience

Overall had an awesome stay. This cabin is a perfect getaway for two people. Only minor complaint is that it wasn’t super clear there are two cabins fairly close. This was not an issue by any means just would’ve like to known the full property layout before hand.

Beautiful Cabin

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was clean and well-equipped for our stay. We loved the extra touches like the cute decorated tree for the holidays. Weekend get away

Loved the cabin. Very clean and owner very responsive. Little touches that made the stay feel like Home away from home. A basket of snacks and welcome card was the first thing you see when you come in. The rocking chairs out back, perfect for relaxing and drinking coffee, even saw a Mom and baby deer last morning there.

Caveside Cabins is a perfect place for a getaway. The host Rondel absolutely thought of everything you might need for your stay. From coffee to the extra towels for the jacuzzi, the gift basket. You can really tell they care about their guest. Checking in and out was super easy and very convenient for the late check ins. Loved it and will go back. 5 star

The cabin was clean and had all the things I needed (hot tub, gas grill with awesome grilling utensil set, WiFi)! The owner's thoughtfulness shows through the gift basket of snacks, providing enough towels, and having those "extras" available in case you left yours at home. While it's on one of the "busier" roads for Hocking (which is still not busy), the traffic did not disturb our stay. (FYI, Cabin 2 is slightly further away from the street, so if you have any concerns, start there!)

Perfect 20th Anniversary!

Brand new luxurious cabin for 2 super close to Ash Cave! Not one detail overlooked. Open floor plan with brand new appliances, outdoor grill, personal hot tub under covered back patio. Large shower with multiple shower heads. Beautiful comfortable king bed, 2 televisions with dish satellite. Absolutely perfect for an adult couple. Very close to Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave

The MOST AMAZING GET AWAY, EVER…

There is NO ONE place to begin. From the BEST appointments about the cabin, to the overall amenities and ‘extras’ that were never expected, to be included. The host Rondel, is one of the best in the industry. The warmth, solitude, cozy feeling, and quaintness of the cabin is BEING ‘home away from HOME’ which was absolutely relaxing. Having ALL you need besides your other, and whatever staples you desire will make YOUR time and stay THE BEST, or YOURS. WE WILL BE BACK. Sooo much to say positively

Weekend away

The cabin was just what we needed. Even though our trip was cut short due to a family emergency, the time we spent there was absolutely relaxing. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, but we definitely will next time. The bed and other furniture are very comfortable! We especially liked the rocking chairs on the back porch. Rondell is such a gracious host and made sure all our needs were met. He probably even arranged for the deer to come close and feed in the back yard. Lol!! Maybe not, but he seriously is that good! There are a couple things of note for future customers. The place has well water. There is documentation that it has been tested and is safe for drinking, but there is a smell that comes with well water. It doesn’t linger too badly once you turn the water off and the smell from the well water is not nearly as potent in the kitchen as it is in the bathroom. Secondly, Rondell does provide a password and has wifi access in the cabin, but you need to stand outside or near the window in order not to lose connection. These are two things that are not bad, but need to be aware of. I am sure both of these things are common occurrences in any rental in the Hocking Hills area. And it will definitely not stop us from visiting this lovely cabin again. It was as close to perfect as it could have possibly been! Thanks Rondell!!

Absolutely amazing! We loved everything about our trip!The cabin was beautiful and very clean. It was only a few minutes from a few of the caves we wanted to see. Unfortunately the waterfalls were all dried up, but it was still amazing yo see.Communication with Rondel the host was great. Would highly recommend!!

I grew up locally and have always loved the Hocking Hills region. I love all the caves and the beautiful waterfalls. I love the many miles of trails and I continue to find new hidden gems. In addition to being just two miles from Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave, we are also conveniently located near wineries, Lake Hope State Park, Moonville Tunnel and many local attractions. I would love to help you plan your perfect getaway.
