The farmhouse was cozy and perfectly located for our needs. The animals were also a hit with our baby boy and the check-in/check-out was very easy. The host was very accommodating as well.
Such a nice place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing environment. The animals are all so sweet. Comfortable bed and strong, hot water. Working Wi-Fi can’t ask for much more than that, it is definitely a place. I will want to stay again.
Comfortable home with everything we needed for a week long stay. Charming older farmhouse with lots of updates. Pigs and sheep made adorable neighbors.
We had a wonderful stay - it is a beautiful setting and so peaceful! Staying in the house is like stepping back in time, except with all the modern amenities for a family. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will absolutely be back!
It's a nice house, with a great view!
It's in a quiet little neighborhood across the street from a Dairy farm with mountains in the background. I really enjoyed staying here, can't wait to come back.
Loved this old farmhouse. I wish I had visited the area for reasons other than work, because I would have loved to just sit on the front porch all day and relax.
Beautiful view off the front porch! Enjoyed the little barn and animals next door. Fun to watch. House is old and shows it BUT if you're not someone who has to have the newest and best it's a great place to stay as it is clean, comfortable and priced right! Very attentive host. Downside - no good outside seating - needs a couple nice porch chairs.
The house was exceptionally clean and the host was a true delight. Mr. Calvin was extremely helpful when the coffeemaker didn't work. He supplied us with a new one and insisted on providing us with coffee the first morning. He also helped us figure out how to watch the LSU football game. We also enjoyed the animals on the property, particularly the donkey.
Great old farmhouse. Two pigs on premises but they refused to provide bacon. Sheep did not provide food or wool but farmhouse was toasty and well equipped even so.
We husband and I stayed here 3 nights to attend a family wedding in a nearby town. The farmhouse is much cuter than the pics show. It’s a huge space both in and out on the property. The master bed was so comfortable. I LOVED the lighted mirrors in both baths which is great for makeup and it’s also heated to get rid of any mist from your shower. many essentials provided but, we brought our own so kudos to the owners for having things available. We will definitely book here again when back in the area. Farm animals were a huge plus and our 2 small dogs loved it here as well. Thank you, Calvin & your family for letting us enjoy your property.
We loved our 2-night stay at the farmhouse. Very cozy, with a great view, and even farm fresh eggs! My daughters especially enjoyed having the farm animals outside to pet and feed. I would definitely recommend and/or stay again.
The property was clean, but it is quite old and basic. Only one blanket was provided per bed, and essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste were not available. The best part of the stay was that the kids really enjoyed seeing the animals on the property, including donkeys, chickens, and pigs. Overall, it was an okay stay, but a few more amenities would make it more comfortable for guests.
