Quiet Getaway

This is a tranquil location, with no traffic (except for the occasional wildlife wandering by) Proximity to Calgary make it an easy drive for a weekend. It is close to XC and Alpine skiing in winter and golf is minutes away in summer. Lots of space for up to 6 people, with great kitchen facilities to do your own cooking. Very clean and equipped with all you need to have a very enjoyable stay.

Time away

The property was just as described. Great cookware so we dined in everyday. Pool table was a bonus. Didn’t try out the sauna. Walked around the area with our dogs everyday. It was a low key weekend, just what we wanted and Pine Cone Cabin was the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and relax. We will be back.

Wow, just wow!

I travelled to Radium with three of my grown sons, my daughter in law and my granddaughter. The property was immaculate and pretty well stocked. If I could suggest perhaps having ziplock bags or leftover containers. Aside from that, we truly enjoyed our time there. My boys said they would love to go back in the summer. Thank you for sharing your home with my family. Rhonda

Garbage and cans

The only question I would have had was what to do with garbage and empty cans. It wasn’t clear with the check in instructions.

Girl’s Getaway

Pinecone Cottage is a great accommodation that is centrally located in Radium. The property is very clean and comfortable, and the wood burning fireplace is fabulous! The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars across the board - is because it wasn’t clear that the cabin is in a residential neighbourhood. It was fine, but we were concerned about keeping our music low and making sure not to disturb neighbours. Also, no firewood was provided which is also fine, but would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could pick up wood before we arrived. Otherwise, the place is fantastic and very well equipped. The pool table was lots of fun and there is a good supply of board games available.
