It was great to talk to Norman ahead of his stay at Vuemont condo! I am pleased also that despite the review, during his stay, we made a positive enough impact that Norman inquired about booking the property again for his next year's visit, before his stay was complete! Upon being made aware that the lift unexpectedly malfunctioned that day and needed service, I requested the property manager send someone to fix it ASAP. Customer service is our top priority, and from Day 1 the focus has been such. When I purchased this rental property in 2022, I made a lot of changes to modernize it, including shipping a brand new dishwasher from Canada, changing all furniture to new, as well as providing additional “cushy” conversational seating on the patio, in addition to the 4 person dining table and the sun lounger. Cleanliness and sanitization is a top priority, and has been celebrated by many of our guests through their reviews online. A video walk through is always performed by me, prior to signing off. I did not know about the couple of dishes in the cupboard, but since then the staff have been reeducated on checking each and every dish. My cleaners are a professional company, and yes I was made aware that one of the tea cups though clean, had a tea stain in it, and one of the baking trays had a few crumbs on it. This was immediately resolved by sending the company back the next day. Although during our text conversations throughout his stay, Norman’s tone was very brusque and patronizing, including all caps text to my staff, during the complimentary cleaning service we provided to him mid stay, upon becoming aware of the issue of the couple of items in the kitchen cupboard, we were yet glad to provide a helpful and professional response to him. My only suggestion would be that in communication, he should be as respectful of others as they are of him. The dishwasher tabs mentioned in the review above, were from Toronto Canada (the brand is Sunlight), and placed in the apartment, personally, by me. I pride myself in being one of the few units providing a dishwasher for guest use. Again it was a pleasure to host Norman, and I am grateful to be aware of opportunities of improvement, as we constantly strive for guests to have a 5 star experience!
