The space: Open the front door to a stunning stone central fireplace, cathedral ceilings and real hardwood floors in this "mountain modern" home that is perfect for both a relaxing weekend with friends, or a family reunion. The house is quite peaceful surrounded by nature and trees. Relax on one of three decks to watch the birds and squirrels.

Platters, serving bowls, electric mixer, Nutri-bullet and casserole dishes can all be found in the cabinetry. Everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal and your favorite beverage!

Guest access: The entire home is accessible to guests, with the exception of a few supply closets.

Other things to note: The drive to Bryce is idyllic, and paved! There is spotty cell phone service in the house, but once connected to the Wi-Fi, guests should have all the connectivity needed.

Great Location
We needed a place close to the hiking trail we were going to do that could sleep our whole group, and this was close. Unfortunately the trails were closed due to wild fires a couple nights before our stay. Because of the late notice, we couldn't cancel our stay. We had to drive an hour and a half the next morning to get to another trail where we camped, but this cabin was large enough to accommodate our church group, we just couldn't enjoy our stay as long as we had hoped. We were only at the house long enough to relax before bed and get a good night sleep. Less than 12 hours total. Otherwise this house looks to have been a great place to enjoy and relax.

Great house in a great area.
We had a fantastic post-Christmas stay at Acorn Ridge Lodge in Bayse. The house was perfectly large enough to accommodate our multi-generational family group, with rooms plenty big enough for us all and well spaced for privacy. It was great having the games room and home theatre for those of us who wanted to socialise, while the upstairs loft area and entry level family room provided cosy chill areas for those wanting some quiet time. Bayse itself is great for outdoor activities and country amenities. Visiting the vineyards and distillery nearby were great activities, along with mountain walks and skiing. Hosts were fantastically welcoming with great communication and friendly vibes. Can’t wait for our next stay. Perhaps in summer so we can mountain bike and paddle on the lake!

Great Memorial Weekend
Acorn Ridge was great for our long weekend with two families (four kids ages four to eight). The house was clean, comfortable and has some great amenities. We hiked at the nearby lake, explored Shenandoah caverns and had a great afternoon at a local brewery.

I am a Northern Virginia native and love spending time at Acorn Ridge - visiting wineries, spending quality time with friends, hiking or skiing depending on the season. Every time I do the drive from highway 81 to the house, I revel in the scenery and relax.

What makes this property unique

Acorn Ridge is tucked away with a private feel, yet close to everything at the resort. Heavily treed, the house is surrounded by nature yet has an easy driveway and access to paved roads the entire way. Perfect for a family learning to ski, a quiet vacation, or a weekend girl's trip. There is plenty of space and activities for all.
