About this property
Bears Repeating - Blue Ridge, GA
Beautiful forest and mountain views from every bedroom, back decks and balcony is only one of the drawing cards that our family is dealing you. You can find yourself, on those gorgeous days, relaxing for hours on end; replenishing and recharging your essence by simply gazing upon the beauty that lies before your eyes. Too cold or stormy? No concern, you can still enjoy these same lovely views from the comfort of your beds while catching up on those novels you brought with you.
Savoring those hot meals on the natural wood dining table or that night time popcorn around the wood burning fire place is a breeze with your kitchen close at hand. For those who need to bring a little bit of work with them, there is a desk in the upper-level master bedroom. But I would wager, the view from your private balcony, will beat any hand in front of you and help you release the cares of tomorrow for tomorrow.
For the gamers in the group, the lower-level living area with unique cathedral ceilings is waiting for you with its foosball, air hockey and ping pong table. Those who like to be spectators, there is plenty of seating available to cheer on your favorite player or simply turn on the 55”TV to root for your favorite team. Those that prefer to exercise their talent outdoors, we have at your disposal a cornhole set. While enjoying the beautiful afternoon, don't forget to spread a couple scoops of the provided deer corn to attract the deer from the forest creek. Before turning in, rest those weary bones around your large stone-laid fire pit. Roasting marshmallows, quietly gazing at the stars and sharing thoughts with those nearby warms your heart as much as the fire warms your body.
Stepping into the lower-level custom designed bunkroom, made with children in mind, with its reading corner providing books and a snuggly bear, I am reminded of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s beginning phrase from his poem: The Children’s Hour:
“Between the dark and the daylight,
When the night is beginning to lower,
Comes a pause in the day’s occupations,
That is known as the Children’s Hour.”
Here your child can while away the night in the reading corner or snuggle up in their cabin themed bunks with their private lamp providing that cozy afterglow for reading those favorite stories.
The ace in the hole for your wonderland experience is just a 2-minute drive away or stretch your legs on an enjoyable walk with a fishing pole or favorite companion. Arriving at this private, secluded, non-alcoholic park with fishing options on the Toccoa River, a gazebo, enclosed picnic area and mini chapel, you will experience something you may rarely feel. The quiet, serene atmosphere will surround you and fill you with that bone deep restoration that you seek.
We’ve laid our cards on the table. Will you join us for the dream of a life time?
