Relaxing Atmosphere in

The cabin was perfect. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. Very relaxing atmosphere, secluded but no more than 20 mins away from all the attractions of Branson. Plan on visiting again soon.

Great communication

We have stayed at the Elkhorn cabin many times, and it is so comfortable and welcoming. I want to mention how much we appreciate the immediate response we had from Darla when one of the smoke detectors was chirping. She sent someone to take care of it literally within minutes. It’s that kind of service that sets this cabin apart.

Fall Getaway

Cabin was clean and location was great. Showing some wear and tear. Bathrooms need a bigger supply of towels (only received three bath towels per bathroom per couple for one week). We enjoyed our stay. Great size for 2 couples.

Cozy Cabin

We shared this cabin with another couple that are close friends. The cabin is prefect for two couples. Featuring two master suites. It exceeded our expectations. From the decorations to the relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend and look forward to returning.

A perfect cabin in a great location!

This cabin is set up perfectly for two couples or just friends. The two master suites offer great privacy, with the living, dining and kitchen area separating the suites. The location is great, nestled in a wooded neighborhood where walking and enjoying nature come easy. All of the Branson entertainment is just a few short miles away. We took in Sight and Sound Theatre, College of the Ozarks, and Dogwood Canyon. Cleanliness is my number one priority, and we weren’t disappointed. Our host was responsive and so pleasant. This was our second time staying here, and we are making plans to return!

Fun Stay

First I would like to say we had a good stay! Only things I would say is there was a piece of wood that was a part of one of the bathroom vanities and it was not secured and fell on top of my foot twice and it was extremely painful; just thankful it didn’t fall on my child. Most of the decorations were cute and fit the theme but some were a little strange as blades and items along those lines hanging above the dining room/living room. Back of my mind, I felt like they would fall on us (but I am sure they are fine). There also was some strange crawling and loud noises throughout the cabin day and night. Wasn’t too much of a bother (only sometimes through the night). One of the bedrooms also was a lot warmer than the other not sure why; I think the vent was open but we kept the ceiling fan on. Overall I wanted to honest, but I would stay here again. The pros very much outweighs the cons. Great view off the back deck. Spacious bedrooms/bathrooms. This place is fully stocked with everything and very clean. Great cabin community with public pool and activity area. The owner was very easy to communicate with and had no problems. I would give this place a try, you will like it!

Branson Family Trip

Overall, it was a good stay. Some issues; Back patio was missing a slat, several were broken. We have small children so we had to keep the hole covered with a chair to keep one of them from falling through.It was about a 6 ft drop. Several lights were out.The shower door was completely off the tracks and had to be fixed when we got there. The toilet paper holder was broken and just stuck back on (minor, but indicative of lack of general maintenance) There were 2 AC units; one of which covered 1/2 living/kitchen/one bedroom/one bathroom and other covered the other bedroom/bathroom/1/2 living. We figured out about an hour into our stay the unit that covered the other bedroom/bathroom was not functioning properly. My husband called and they sent someone out the next day. The guy said it needed freon. That afternoon Darla called to notify us they had to order a new unit which would not be in until after we left. She said, we're hoping you can stay comfortable with the way it is, you can leave the fan going on the side where the air conditioner is not broken and that will help circulate the air. Keep doors open. No other accommodations/ recommendations. We were 7 hrs from home and it was 88-100 degrees our whole stay. She just told us to just keep the curtains closed and that will help. It stayed pretty hot in that room regardless. The back porch had a lot of mosquitos probably because it was so grown up (6 ft vegetation/ poison ivy everywhere). It was a nice neighborhood though.

Kitchen was stocked well. Large deck,but no view, overgrown trees. For having a cleaning charge check out list was interminable.Host easy to get in touch with.Great decor.Driveway is very steep and tough to fit to midsize suv/trucks.

Close to Branson, But Away From Crowds

It’s fun to go to Branson, but even better to drive away from the crowds to a peaceful setting. We found this property to be as presented and just exactly what we wanted. Having two suites with a comfortable living area was great for two couples. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean with plenty of space. Water was nice and hot with great pressure. We stayed three nights, but it seemed we had towels for only two nights. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer, so we just washed them. That is my only negative thought.We did not cook there, but the kitchen appeared well stocked, We drank coffee only. The back porch area was so pleasant in the morning. We did not grill or use the fireplace, but for anyone wanting to, everything was available.We also did not use the pool or common areas, but they appeared neat and well maintained. The cabins are close together, but it was a quiet neighborhood. All in all, we had a great stay and would go back.

Friends get together

Loved the location and especially the back deck. We enjoyed the evening fires in the fireplace. Thank you for providing the firewood. The cabin was cozy, clean, interesting with all the antiques, and a well stocked kitchen. Host is very prompt in responding to any problems. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
