Thanks for checking out our family lodge!
The price listed is for the entire main floor. Main floor consists of a Queen bedroom & a room that has 4-Queen beds that are bunked.
We have a big family so there is great gathering space!
Large open fully equipped kitchen, living, and dining room.
Can seat 16 comfortably at the table & counter

Sit on the wrap around porch & relax with beautiful views of our beloved valley.
Watch the deer, turkeys, eagles, and coyotes as well as other wildlife meander out of the woods.
Hike at the Beaver Creek State Park.
We are close to a massive bike trail system that is paved and maintained from Houston to Lanesboro and soon to LaCrosse.
While biking don't miss the pie shop in Whalen or the Old Barn for lunch to recharge!
Kayak/Canoe/Tube the Root River.

Daughter's Wedding

Home and property are gorgeous. Felt so comfortable in the home from cooking in kitchen, relaxing watching TV, and turning in for a good nights. Total comfort! And the land surrounding the property WOW! We loved our stay.

Cozy as Home

We were there from 1,000 miles south, east, and west for a wedding. We were the family and friends of the groom. Our stay was lovely, just perfect. The owner was so helpful. She made sure to have everything we needed plus more. We had 21 people there with room to spare.

Amazing place to stay

We did a work retreat here. We had 30 people and everyone fit comfortably. We had so much fun with the outdoor games. Shelly was the best host. We would definitely book again!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Not even sure where to start. The owners are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your stay the best. The house is super spacious and very very clean. The view of the property is breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Minnesota. This rental and host deserve more than 5 stars!! Thank you Mrs. Shelly for making our trip a fun and memorable one!!

This is a such a special place for our huge family to make memories. This is our parent’s legacy. They have 5 kids, 19 grandchildren, and so far 8 great grandchildren!
