Cooler temps bring peak colors of Fall as you explore the Great Smoky Mtn national park trails, or hit the attractions in Gatlinburg, all within 15 minutes of the cabin. After exploring, head back to the spacious cabin to relax in a bubbling hot tub while the kids are entertained by the arcade system in the game room. Situated in the secure community of Cobbly Nob, this location offers convenient access to the 18-hole championship Bent Creek Golf Course and the quieter Greenbriar entrance to the national park. all just minutes from the front door!

The house features an expansive living area great for family fun with a large gas log fireplace, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, and remodeled fully-equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances. A washer/dryer closet is conveniently located near the kitchen. Living area opens up to the expansive redwood deck for easy entertaining and enjoyment of the amazing mountain vistas with cushioned patio furniture. Lower level has 2 master suites each with King bed and en-suite updated bathrooms. The lower level game room with Queen-size sleeper sofa rounds out the sleeping arrangements for six. The game room, which boasts a new arcade game console, opens to the brand new hot tub on the lower redwood deck.

The cabin is beautiful, it has all the amenities you’d need to stay in. Yet close enough to Gatlinburg to go out! We loved our stay! We even saw a bear from the back patio!

The house is awesome and just as described it was clean and had everything we needed. We had plenty of room and plenty of TV to watch in any room we are in. Diana responses right away to any questions we may have. Thank you again and we wil definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Mountain View cabin

We loved our little mountain side cabin and getting away from the hustle and bustle of touristy Gatlinburg. There’s an incredible view off the top balcony and we got see why they’re called the Smoky Mountains. We cooked a few times while staying and they had the necessary cooking utensils. My kids loved the gaming table downstairs and pool in the community. My husband and I loved being able to use the fireplace, even in summer and watching a movie or reading before bedtime. While the road is well maintained, it is narrow, so exercise caution like on any mountain road but the scenery of going up/down into the mountains and the little streams alongside was an added bonus and enchanted the mountain vacation feeling.

Cozy mountain cabin gem

Just staring at the view would be enough however this property is also is close proximity to Smoky Mtn park and Gatlinburg so you can spend the day hiking or in town and come back and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Cozy Get Away

We had a great time! Would definitely come back! Very clean, smells great, spacious kitchen & living room, bedrooms are nice! Only 2 downfalls - the driveway isn’t easy to turnaround and there is very little outside lighting.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with amazing view

The owner Diana was so accommodating and wonderful throughout the whole stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable and so relaxing all around. The views from upstairs deck with fireplace and comfortable furniture was a huge plus! All around 5 star experience!

Quiet Solitude

The check in process was super easy and the view was incredible. The cabin was very clean. I became ill during our stay and had to leave early to go the the ER. Wish we could have stayed the whole time.

We couldn’t be more pleased to have booked this gem for our fall getaway! The cabin is very well kept, is located with a spectacular view of the mountains and provided every comfort detail from a hot tub to a stone fireplace.

Beautifully well appointed cabin

Wonderful cabin high up on the mountain. Plenty of room for an entire family or a cozy little space just for 2. Gorgeous views out the top deck. Cabin was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishwashing detergent, washer detergent, charcoal, trash bags, etc... The best part were the friendly black bears that visited the back yard!! Will definitely stay here again when we visit the Smokies. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!

Nice place to stay!

We enjoyed the cabin, found it to be clean upon arrival, and comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. The location was quiet with an outstanding view and was relatively easy to get to.A couple things to know about this location:You’re located mountainside. The roadways to the cabin are paved, narrow at times, steep in places, has multiple hairpin turns and no guardrails. The cabin is 20 minutes to Gatlinburg and 40 minutes to pigeon forge. Parking is not free most places in Gatlinburg. There is a free trolley service however it doesn’t come to the cabin or the main office. The 2 community pools that were open were large enough to host two small family’s.There are stairs that are open, stone/cement wall and footing beneath the fireplace, and 15 feet of glass door in the main common area. Keep this in mind if traveling with small children/toddlers. We didn’t see bears on our trip, but they are definitely around, as we found sets of bear prints in the driveway one morning.

It was exactly like it said. Clean, roomy, and a great view. Our first morning we saw a mommy bear and her 3 cubs right off the balcony. Great communication from the owner. Would definitely recommend.

The Most Glorious Fall View of Smokies!

We throroughly enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be out of the busyness of downtown Gatlinburg and half way between Cosby, too. We love Carver's Orchard there. There were multiple routes you could take to go to Pigeon Forge & Sevierville to bypass Gatlinburg, as well. The home itself was so comfy- good beds, cozy living room sectional, spacious kitchen, even a game room downstairs. The views from the balconies were simply breathtaking. In fact, we saw a bear right below us that was eating for about 40 minutes one afternoon. Lastly, Diana was wonderful communicating back & forth!

Quiet and Great View.

Quiet, Clean, and comfortable with great view of the mountains. Mama bear and cub wandered by our last evening there. Enjoyed watching them from the 2nd floor porch. Saw another bear that we named the Gymnast Bear because he liked walking on top of an adjacent property’s fence like it was a balance beam.

Smoky Mountains did not disappoint

We’ve been wanting to visit the Smoky’s for awhile and made the decision this was the year. While searching for a place to stay, we came across this listing and was impressed with the accommodations. What we encountered upon arrival was way beyond expectations! The view was glorious. The cabin was so wonderful it really felt like a home away from home. The host was very attentive to our needs. This is a must stay if you are looking for the comforts of home located in a heavenly place.

COMFY CABIN IN THE WOODS

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the house. The back porch and living room have very comfy furniture and the porch overhang allows you sit out when its rainy. The house looks just like the pictures, and it was well supplied. Diana was a great host. The roads and driveway are fine without 4 WD. The Artist Loop is about 15 mins The strip 20-25 mins. Highly recommend lunch at The Wild Plumb if you can get a rez as well as The Highlands Gallery. There is also a family of bison on the Artists Loop. One note...make sure you use the correct steet address. I stupidly put in Fox Tail Trail. And guess what, there IS a Fox Tail Trail, clear on the other side of G-burg! I did it twice! wheel drive.

Perfect in every way!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! First of all, Diana was so wonderful to work with. So helpful and very quick to respond. The cabin was immaculate and fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The view is indeed “Glorious”! Great location. Short drive to Gatlinburg. Far enough away from the hustle md bustle but close drive to shops and restaurants. Loved all the attention to detail! highly recommend this beautiful cabin! Bedrooms are on the bottom level of the cabin so there are stairs to navigate but easy to unload car right by kitchen on main floor! Living area is downstairs. Great for families or ideal for two couples. Both with baths. Love the 1/2 bath on main level. We will definitely return! Diana was awesome!!

The best of EVERYTHING

I’m writing this as we head home from our stay. I don’t think any of us could say a negative thing even if we were paid to about our stay, vacation, the host, the cabin…. PERFECTION. SO relaxing and comfortable from the moment we started up through the mountains. We walked in to such a clean but still cozy home. A perfect cabin feel but still so open and the modern amenities we are all used to. Everything was so comfortable and the place smelled so clean and perfect also. I’m big with smells and the scent was perfect. The deck is so lovely and spacious. I loved having my coffee inside or out and looking at the view. That VIEW! We’ve been a few times but this visit topped it. I’d recommend this home to anyone and we will be back. Diana was so sweet and responsive and so inviting. It was more of a personal experience and not a hotel feel at all. The ease of just showing up at anytime was lovely and no checking in or out. The bedroom set up is great also with the private bathrooms and living room/game area between them. The hot tub was so great at night after being out and about all day and located so conveniently to the bedrooms. We loved being able to fix lunch together and coffee in the mornings and felt right at home. We saw bears twice! they are so peaceful and beautiful. We got so lucky to see them that close up! I’d like to also add that we were with our two little ones (11 months and 2 years old) and it was perfect for them too. The upstairs has everything nice and open

We were thoroughly impressed with the cabin. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We have stayed in other cabins and chalets in Gatlinburg but none of them compare to this one at cobbly nob. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and the living room space is perfect. We snuggled up by the fireplace each night with a perfect view of the mountains. The communication with the host was also amazing. She was super pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10

The cabin is wonderful and the name fits it well. The host was extremely responsive and gracious. The only issue is VRBO adding on so many fees … what is shown as the TOTAL before booking isn’t correct but you find that out as you go through the payment phase, the price shown almost doubles. I prefer to know the FULL price up front and not feel deceived. They expect honesty when we book and I expect the same in return.

The views from the deck are amazing!! Really enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and relaxing. My husband got to play his childhood favorite “Frogger” on the arcade machine.. He was quite rusty! Even see a few bears on our way up to the house. Would highly recommend..
