Peace in Paradise
Skye was so friendly and helpful. She greeted up with such a warm welcome and smile. From the moment we stepped into the cottage we were in love with all the little touches. Skye answered any questions we had and then left us to enjoy our stay but was only a phone call or text away if we needed her. This place was literally steps downs path to a beautiful, and what felt like our very own beach. Falling asleep to the breeze and sound of the waves each night was so peaceful. I highly recommend a stay at this quaint sea side cottage. We would definitely stay here again.
Most beautiful beach in Hawaii
We loved our stay at this quaint little beach house. Very private, the road felt very safe, VERY close to the beach. The second place we stayed in Hawaii was an extra 100+ dollars a night to be right on the water and we would have taken this little place over it as the beach is just that beautiful, it’s truly close enough to the water. The house is a one level in the tropics so you do get some bugs and humidity but there was spray under the sink for the few times we seen them and there is a hefty air conditioner which kept us cool in the night. The best thing about this property is the beach - hands down the nicest beach we went to in Hawaii without the touristy feel and Waimanalo is in a great area close to Waikiki, koko crater, diamond head but away from the hustle and bustle. Skye was a wonderful host :)
Great Location and Great Host
Very peaceful, small neighborhood. A terriffic beach is a minutes walk away and our hostess has a lot of great suggestions for local places
The cottage was amazing-- cozy, perfectly stocked, wonderfully decorated. Skye, the owner, was the best. Friendly, welcoming, full of great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Just what the doctor ordered!
We knew we needed a break, but didn't know how badly until we arrived in Waimanalo and the stress melted away. Kids and parents alike frolicked in the waves for hours every day of the week! We ventured into Waikiki just once to show Pearl Harbor to the kids and a few times to the North Shore to snorkel and grub on shrimp. Our accomodations were quiet, cozy and allowed us to relax, cook when we wanted, and listen to the waves crash at night. The kids especially loved the little gecko friends that passed through the cottage. Perfection would be a fitting description!
Cozy cottage, amazing beach
Location of this quaint cottage was wonderful. A 2 minute walk brought us to the beautiful Waimanalo Beach which we used everyday(sometimes as early as 7am as the water was so warm). The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, including beach toys and our was bed comfortable. The yard is private and we ate most of our meals outside. The location was very very quiet , back off the main road. If you want luxury(and the cost to go with it) than book into a mega resort. If you want a cozy little vacation home this is it. Skye
was available to answer questions and make recommendtions
but unobtrusive rest of the time. Would definitely recommend it.
