Beautifully quiet stay

It was very clean and a very quiet stay. There are plenty of places to eat out or grab a coffee within walking distance. My wife and I had several pleasant conversations with the locals. On top of everything, there were very friendly neighborhood cats!

Wonderful

We opted to stay here instead of a hotel for a long weekend getaway and were so pleased that we did. The house is gorgeous and is supplied with everything you need. Wonderful Stay

This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable home my wife and I have ever rented for a short term period. The host went above and beyond by supplying drinks and snacks and breakfast items. This was a one time visit to the Harrisburg area. However, if we ever come back, I will definitely stay here.

Great place to stay!

This was our first time staying in Harrisburg and it was a perfect place to use as home base while we explored Pennsylvania. Everything is exactly as listed. The place was spotless, the bed was comfy, and parking was only metres from the door. The extra little touches of a well-stocked kitchen were appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

An absolute gem!

The property is located uptown and close to the river. It is beautifully decorated with pieces created by PA artists and fully stocked with every possible amenity you can think of. The communication with the property manager was excellent, and you can tell the take pride on creating a memorable experience for their guests. Will definitely book it again when going to HBG.

The owner was very informative and the attention to detail is 2nd to none…with pictures to help with parking and locations. The inside is decorated immaculately. Just a beautiful interior. Know that the 2nd BR is really an office with a pull out sofa, rather than a bed. A great place to stay for 1 or 2 people…and really one of the best vrbo owners I have ever dealt with.

One of our best VRBO stays

We rank this as one of our best VRBO stays. The row house was beautiful, clean, and clearly well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back. Faced with a severe storm Friday night we cozied up and were very comfortable. Saturday we took advantage of the better weather to visit nearby shops and then the Capitol museum and rotunda. All in all we could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful and Spotless!

We loved our stay at the house! The house was very clean, comfortable and a beautiful place. We appreciated the extra touches, all necessities were available, such as extra toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, water, etc! It was appreciated, while we didn’t need much, it was great how much effort went in to making our stay as comfortable as possible! The close parking was convenient too! We highly recommend this place, and if we ever in the areas again, we would certainly come back to this home!

Property was really nice. There was a bunch of little touches that made the experience, enjoyable, including walking in with lights on. Entryway was super easy to use, place was very clean overall. My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The instructions for parking given were very easy to follow and the whole process was very smooth. The house was STOCKED with anything you might need (snacks, coffee, drinks, breakfast, and more). Very clean and just a beautiful house overall. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do very easily. We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone and are sure we'll be back sometime in the future!

Beautiful Row House

Old neighborhood with narrow streets lead you to a surprisingly modern row house. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Close enough to the city and highway access, yet quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The host has thought out everything you might need: charging stations, extra shampoo, breakfast foods. It was great for out little family. One thing to note is that there is no first floor bedroom or bathroom so accessibility could be an issue for some. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this to others without hesitation. Thank you for making our vacation more enjoyable.

Great stay

Dustin’s place was clean, comfortable, and pretty much exactly like the listing photos. There happened to be a pretty significant heat wave that weekend, so the only real qualm we ran into was the air conditioning didn’t seem to cool down the house to a point that was perfect all of the time. We were in Harrisburg for a couple of formal events, and as we were a group of 3, getting ready for these events was a bit tough with only one bathroom — we could’ve used another “getting ready” mirror in the primary bedroom with a few power strips for hair tools and chargers. All in all a great stay, and would definitely recommend it!

A perfect venue for modest entertainment

We came to Harrisburg to spend time with friends, and we wanted to cook dinner for them, and be able to sit around a real dinner table while their house is being packed up. The property was absolutely perfect for a quiet party of five (only my wife and I stayed overnight). The kitchen has very modern and high-end appliances and is well-equipped. We were impressed that the host not only is exceedingly generous in offering snacks and beverages for guests, but that this is used as an opportunity to promote state and local producers. Our guests, from Mechanicsburg, were surprised to learn some of the things made right in their back yard! So bravo for that. Everything in the house worked, it was quiet and comfortable, easy walk to the river, and the Olde Uptown neighborhood is quirky and fun, everyone we encountered was very friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

Everything was great, I have no complaints. Our host was always quick to respond, always friendly, and always accomodating. Everything was clean, the decor was really cool. I loved all of the art and the information about the artists. The furniture/bed was comfortable. Rooms spacious. Anything we needed was avaliable. We were able to get the place cool on an extremely hot day with the upstairs air conditioners. My kids appreciated the board games, the snacks, and especially the TV and the pull out bed. The area is good, the neighborhood has familes and everyone was very kind and friendly. As someone who is anxious about directions and parking and check-in, the information given left me knowledgeable and relaxed. Everything is laid out for you, and I appreciated that more than you know. We would come here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
