This recently updated home is in a peaceful subdivision perfectly located between Pinehurst Village and Southern Pines. The back deck provides a nice quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee or relax after a round of golf. There is both a ping pong and foosball table in the garage for entertainment. Interested in playing golf? Ask us about golf packages! There are over 40 beautiful golf courses in the area. Home is named and inspired by the late great Arnold Palmer. Wake up, Golf, Relax, Repeat
Home is Pet Friendly, but does require a pet fee! Pet fee differs for # of pets. Standard fee is $150. This is not included in the total quoted price. Pet fee will be added after reservation is booked. Up to 2 pets allowed. Please contact us if you are looking to bring a pet.

Pinehurst “Stay”cation

Our weekend at the Palmer House in Pinehurst was great. We are locals and needed a place to stay while some renovations were done at our home. The location was great and the house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was also super easy and simple. Perfect spot for anyone vacationing to Pinehurst.

Great Wedding Weekend

I chose this property for my wedding weekend due its convenient location both to the village of Pinehurst and the gold resort. Myself and the other guests were thrilled with the cleanliness and size of the property. It provided a great quiet retreat for us after wedding festivities.

The house was very convenient for our group, very nice neighborhood, we had a great experience with David, he was super helpful with any request, the house have a lot of entertainment options that kept our family busy from dartboard to ping pong table to name few. Pleasant but lacking some attention.

Some aspects were exceptional (location, ease of booking, check-in & check-out) but unfortunately there were some inadequate areas of service: numerous soiled linens & comforters, carpet, cabinet contents, previous tenants trash and cobwebs. When a small problem arose although the management responded they were very difficult to get ahold of.

Nice Property

We enjoyed our stay at the Palmer House this past weekend. It is a comfortable, well laid out, and well equipped house. The shared bathroom toilet is missing a nut to secure the toilet seat. This allowed the seat to slide when used but we were still able to use the unit. The light on the garage door opener was burned out so we swapped it out with a bulb from the light fixture over the dining area table. It seems odd this was the only light switch we could find even though there a fluorescent fixture on the ceiling of the garage. Overall, we were quite comfortable and would consider staying here again should we return to Pinehurst.

Not clean bordering on nasty

Bed linens and mattesses were stained, toilet messy and dirty, refrigerator needed cleaning, carpets stained. The entire house has an unclean look and feel Fortunately local manager is responsive Kitchen disposal broken, kitchen not well equipped, Keurig needed descaling

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed at this home for our son's US Kids Golf Tournament. It was very comfortable and close to everywhere we needed to go; Especially Course 1. A few quirks, the garbage disposal was not working and the A.C. thermostat seemed to have a setting on that shut the air off when anyone left the house. It was a warm week and we got home to an 81 degree home on a couple of the days. We figured out how to turn it off a day before we left, so maybe in the future disable that feature for guests in the Summer. Otherwise, we really enjoyed everything. Beds were very comfortable and location/street was perfect. The back porch with chairs is a perfect spot to unwind and listen to the birds either early in the morning or after a day of golf. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean and spacious home

The home was spacious and clean. Wish there was a grill and maybe a fan or ceiling fan in the garage where the ping pong table was. It was too hot and humid to enjoy the ping pong table. The dart board and ring toss was nice. Perfect for a large family.

Wedding Weekend

The home is in a great location for visiting Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Seven Lakes or Carthage area. Very well kept, very clean. The host David was wonderful to work with us. We would most definitely recommend this home for a girls weekend, family visit, etc. We will rent again!

Graduation Celebration

I had initially booked another property in the area and had paid in full more than two months out. With just a few weeks before our trip I got an email telling me my stay had been canceled. I got back at it and found this listing. Shortly after booking it I got a call from David the property manager. This was a first time I'd ever gotten a phone call from a property manager as I use VRBO with some regularity this was a pleasant surprise. He was friendly and personable, and quickly sent me some additional information. Upon arrival there was slight confusion about the door code I gave him a call fairly late about 9:30 after driving 13 hours I was a bit anxious, but he answered first ring and was able to provide the code and even a few recommendations on where we might find a food bite to eat. The property was very clean and comfortable, we were a group of 9 in town for a graduation ceremony. We were comfortable and appreciated the close proximity to restaurants and markets. I didn't have time for golf but if you're looking at this listing you may be familiar with the beautiful course just down thr block. If you're on the look for a place to stay near Pinehurst look no further than this listing you want be disappointed.
