This is centralized to so many fun things to do. The beds were very comfortable and we had all that we needed! Would certainly stay here again if we were back in the area
Love, love, love this house and property! The house is kept in immaculate condition. Very well appointed and the decor is just gorgeous. Tess was very communicative and you can tell that her and her husband put their hearts into the remodeling of this house. We will stay here every time we return to Cheyenne. Thanks Tess!!

This is just the kindest review! Thank you so much!!
Home was very comfortable and very clean. Everything you could want was supplied. Home is nicely decorated and well designed to accommodate VRBO guests.
Traveling cross country with my son and his friend. We decided to make a two day “rest stop” in Cheyenne. Tess’s house felt like an oasis after many hours in the car and many nights in hotels. The house was clean and in great shape. It felt very spacious. Well furnished and well equipped with all we needed for making dinner. Her place was a great base from which to explore Cheyenne.
We had family meet from all corners of the country for Frontier Days and this house was perfect. It is beautifully remodeled and we spent a lot of time outside in the lovely patio area. We had some unexpected things happen (some of us had to leave early and communication was lacking on our end) but Tess was very kind and understanding and made things work for us. We couldn’t be more thankful. We highly recommend this property and working with Tess!!
We enjoyed our stay and the house worked great. Unfortunately after checking out, we were accused of damaging a chair. My husband and I were the only guests that used the "damaged" chair. We do not wear jeans with jewels or sharp items in our pockets as questioned. We were still in Cheyenne and requested to return to property to validate the claim but host was "out of town". Conveniently, damage insurance was purchased (since required) to cover the "damage". I would advise taking a walk through video of the property on your arrival including the integrity of each furniture item.

Thank you for the review! Sorry to see the 1 damaged chair resulted in a 3 star review. VRBO recommends owners require the damage protection for $59, so that is why I have it. However, I did call them to make sure the claim wouldn't cost you anymore money. They said "It did not and that is the purpose of the damage protection", so I went ahead and filed the claim. They did require me to send before and after proof, and my cleaning lady takes great pictures so fortunately was an easy process. I do have guests send me things that need replaced or repaired and it is so helpful!
I am actually a traveling RN and am doing an assignment in Ketchum, ID. So that is why we are "out of town". I hope the rest of the house was pleasing to you! Thanks again.
The check-in process at this residence was exceptional. Everything was ready to go as promised, and it was easy to get into the door using a code. The house was amazing. It’s not huge, but but there was ample room for all of us to stay. The bedrooms were very nice, the basement, extremely nice! The best bedrooms were in the basement with a beautiful large bathroom and shower. The two upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable with a nice walk-in shower just down the hall. They put a lot of love into the place and you could tell. There is a really nice washer and dryer, beautiful Samsung refrigerator, two couches, and a couple of dining areas but no dining table which was fine for us. We didn’t need anything formal. The house had all kinds of cute decor, and it was very clean. The neighborhood is great; plenty of parking and quiet. We loved the outdoor space. It had great lighting and lots of comfy seating with a large table and chairs for dining outside with a very nice grill which we didn’t use. They provided laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner, coffee, and there was lots of kitchen items and appliances. The location was great. We were 5 to 10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. The owner was very easy to reach. I would highly recommend this home. Thank you, Tess!

Disappointing Experience
We have enjoyed literally dozens of positive VRBO rentals, this was our first negative experience. As a courtesy, I did 2 loads of towels and included the bath mats. I let the owner know and she replied: “I saw that the rugs in the bathroom were washed. I assumed that was because the basement bathroom flooded” and then she accused us of causing water damage. We took daily normal showers and if there is a leak in the shower base, that is scarcely our responsibility.
I have never written a negative review and did not plan to do so, but I am so distressed by her negative feedback (she also charged us an additional cleaning fee, which I paid to clean the floors, although we removed all trash and left no dirty dishes as instructed), but the water damage remark is over the line.
We didn’t complain when we were unable to use the patio furniture because much of it was wet. We did not make a fuss when my grandchild sat on the end of the bed and the rigging in place to prop up the broken frame popped out (when I let the owner know she asked if we could manage for our stay, we agreed), I would have let slide the oven that smoked when preheated because 2 dirty sheet pans had been left inside and the oil got hot, nor bother to mention the annoying remote control that was missing its back and had scotch tape holding in the batteries, but suggesting that we have caused damage to the basement bathroom that smelled of mildew when we arrived is a bit much!

Hello Sharon. Sorry to read your negative feedback. I would like to explain again that the extra charge was for the extra cleaning required after your stay. Our new hard wood floor were caked with sticky candy that I had to peel up by hand and dirt everywhere. Our bathroom trim had water damage that had to be replaced after your stay, which is why I assumed the bathroom flooded . I sent you pictures of both . It states very clearly in the check out instructions that we only charge $50 for cleaning, and if extra cleaning is required there will be an additional fee. $50 is not nearly enough for the condition you left our home in.
I was not told about the back of the remote missing, wet cushions, or the smokey oven. It also says in our instructions to let us know if anything is broke so we can fix it. We don't stay in the house much so I rely on that communication. Since your stay the remote, the bed, the trim, and the smokey oven have been fixed. Sorry about the wet cushions, they do have covers but sometimes the rains still soaks through.
I hope you leave other short term rentals in a better condition then you left ours. And let them know what needs to be fixed before leaving them a 1 star review.

I am a travel nurse and my husband comes with me and remodels homes wherever we go. We renovated this 1931 home from top to bottom together, it has come a long way!
Why they chose this property
This home was built in 1931. It has been newly renovated and furnished from top to bottom. Original hard wood floors and crown molding, with new appliances and an open floor plan gives this home an especially unique look.
Custom and sentimental décor is in this home for guests to enjoy, including a variety of animal mounts and souvenirs from different countries. Please refrain from touching/handling these irreplaceable pieces.
We do not smoke and have no pets, keeping our house fresh and clean.
We offer 2 free off street parking spots behind the house, and also plenty of street parking in front of the house. There are electric scooters near the house and are fun to tour around Wyoming's Capitol.
