Unclean and falsely advertised
Upon arrival, we smelled weed, the floors were very sticky and dirty, we found food on the floor, and a rug in the bathroom that was supposed to be white but was very dirty. We didn't take off our shoes while we were there. We contacted the property manager who said he would have house keeping come the next day but we saw no evidence that housekeeping had been there when we returned. Things appeared the same. We went out and bought a mat for the bathroom. We also discovered a take out container left behind the door in the bedroom, dirty scrub brush in the sink, someone else's clothing left in the drawer as well as no hand soap or conditioner even though there were containers for this, also no hand towels provided. Beyond the lack of cleanliness, the one bed was missing some slats at the bottom causing the mattress to sink down which is a safety hazard as both my husband and myself had problems with that. The coded lock on the door was very tricky to operate and it took several tries before locking and unlocking. Lastly, they advertise this beautiful picture of a hot tub in the backyard but when we went to look at it, it was unplugged and had tons of leaves in it, rendering it unusable. We responded to our check out email citing these specific things and asking to at least get out cleaning deposit back since we feel this was not done to an acceptable standard, but we have heard nothing since that morning. Please beware if you stay here. We planned to celebrate with our college daughter but she didn't even want to stay with us in this place and chose to be in her dorm instead and since we already paid, we felt stuck. This was an incredibly disappointing experience.
