The Wash House is a great spot to stay when visiting the Shenandoah Valley. It was extremely clean, very comfortable and the hosts provided all sorts of snacks and drinks. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!!!
The host family was wonderful! The children so cute! The little extras like snacks and treats were a surprise!Loved sweet Nikita, the family dog who lives outside in her doghouse! It was close enough to have many cute restaurants but lovely on the quiet farm!
My college friend and I stayed at the Washhouse while visiting Harrisonburg and we had a lovely weekend. The host family is lovely. The accommodations are comfortable and the property is in such a peaceful setting. We would love to return!
We had a lovely stay at the wash house! Trisha and her family were very welcoming and kind. Their 2 dogs were also so friendly and sweet, we loved having them around. The house was stocked with yummy snacks and drinks. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again for our next trip to Harrisonburg.
The WashHouse is a very nice place to stay. The hosts were friendly and the sweetest gentle giant dogs were our greeters! The house has most everything you might need. The snacks and drinks were a welcome surprise. Very clean and inviting.
Super cozy and well-stocked. Kids enjoyed all of the games and really enjoyed the dogs. Property owners were super sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend.
This is our second time staying at the Washhouse and we had another peaceful stay. The owners are very responsive and extremely kind. The dogs are a plus!

Great hosts. Communicated and were accommodating. Location was exactly what we needed. We will be back.
I cannot recommend this stay enough! Trisha and her family were such welcoming hosts (including their two beautiful English Mastiffs). I’ve never experienced such an accommodating stay - small food AND drinks were provided along with an adorable array of homemade jams, soaps, etc for purchase. The stay felt like it was straight out of a movie. Beautiful views, quaint decor, and 10/10 hospitality made for a truly memorable stay.
The Washhouse had everything we needed for a quick trip to visit our family in the area. Everything was very clean, and well stocked. We appreciated the snacks and drinks! And the family was very kind.
Trisha and Derrick were wonderful to work with and so kind when my trip changed due to snow and ice. The Washhouse was so clean and well appointed. It was the perfect place to unwind.
The washhouse was great! It was very clean and just as advertised. My family had a great time and it was better than we could have planned. Trisha and Derrick were wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay with them in the future.
