This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for some peace & quiet away from everyday life. The view from the front porch overlooks the surrounding woods and the stars sparkle bright at night. There are 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and an extra air mattress for bigger groups. There is a firepit, grill, and picnic area with Hot Tub that overlooks the huge front yard. This property is only 1.5 miles from Lake Thunderbird state park and about 10 minutes from OU & Norman with tons of activities for the family.

My favorite secluded space in Oklahoma!

I’ve been to this property more than once, because I thrive on nature and solitude. It is so peaceful and gorgeous! I have been on the road in my van for three months and this was a perfect break……full kitchen, laundry, and a large soaking tub! I’m a fan of contactless check in and the homeowners definitely offer a private space, but I had the chance to meet the owner Jennifer this morning and she was wonderful! I look forward to staying here during my cross-country travels next summer!

My husband and I are both musicians and teachers at heart. We spent most of our 20's and 30's teaching music and gigging but we now have a few vacation rental properties that we manage to help make a better life for the family.

Why they chose this property

This property is outside the city and amongst nature. That being said, it is only about 10 minutes into Norman and all of the events and conveniences that come with a city close by. The nature trails and bike trails at Lake Thunderbird are beautiful and the nature center is just up the street inside the state park.
