Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
The house is really old, with the old house smell, 1st floor can't open the window due to no screen, no fresh air on the 1st floor. The ketchin is old & small, living is small & smelling. The backyard is very weedy。We are very disappointed for this house.

Thank you so much for letting us know your thoughts on our beautiful 126 year old remodled Heritage Home . YES it is old. It certainly does not deserve a 1 star review.
The screen for the main floor Samson room is right there about 1 foot away from the window. Not hard to insert. We did not do it because the 12-15°c weather did not call for it.
The Kitchen that was remodled just this year boosts a kitchen table to comfortably seat 6 people, (with extra chairs if needed) is VERY clean & bright & has no smell.
The livingroom is not small, but rather sits 10 people, is bright & clean & has a gorgeous solid wood heritage coffee table, watching end tables & a very old pump organ.
Those "weeds" in the back yard is actually a well manicured, beautiful, secluded garden area with plenty of Rhubarb plants that are harvested twice a year.
Your comments are hurtful & unjustified.
Yes, after 14 years of hosting 100's of guests from around the globe, we have learned, one can not please them all.
On that note we would ask that you please not rebook with us in the future, leaving those dates open for a world of appreciating guests.
A truly heritage home - very quaint. We loved having a crib board to play on.The weather was kind of crummy so limited our desire to walk and explore too much in Bonavista but a lovely place to rest our heads.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Home in Bonavista. It's central location was convenient for touring on foot. We were welcomed as guests, not feeling like an inconvenience. The bedrooms with ensuite baths were very clean with comfortable, fresh bed linens. The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries. We would love to come back and highly recommend a stay here.
We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location next door to the Garrick Theatre (the whole purpose for our visit was to see the George Strait tribute there). The three bedrooms with their own ensuites was lovely. The whole house felt like home and though we didn’t meet the hosts they were only a phone call away and very responsive. Fully stocked kitchen. Gorgeous property.
