Welcome to The Barracks- Officers Quarters! Built before WWII to train US troops for D day, This hidden gem was gutted and then completely remodeled while keeping much of the nostalgia of its past. It features a gigantic screened in porch along with every other creature comfort of home. Located within walking distance of the water and near historic Carrabelle & Apalachicola. It is the ideal place for anyone looking to enjoy our little piece of paradise.

Great place

Very peaceful. When we had questions the owner responded quickly. We love the front porch and had coffee every morning. This area is laidback and easy going. Not for those that want excitement and nightlife. Perfect for us.

Favorite Lanark/ Carrabelle bungalow

I love this place. Everything you need! Loads of room, two comfortable bedrooms, large well-appointed kitchen/ great rooms. I have rented 4 different places in the area, and this is my fave. Owner is very communicative and helpful. I am a self-sufficient renter- if you have preference in shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, etc,, bring it with you. This is a place to calm down and chill.

Great place to stay!!

Great place to stay,very quiet and super clean. This was our second time saying here and we loved it. Everything you need is there and it’s nicely decorated. They owner is very nice and helpful. And we loved having the wagon to move our stuff in the house. Overall a great relaxing stay.

The Barracks Officer Quarters

The property is very cute. The screened-in front porch is wonderful to sit out and listen to the birds early in the morning while you are drinking coffee and the back area is very private and secure. The owner was very accommodating. Helping us find a suitable spot to park our boat during our stay in Lanark. I would say we would stay again.
