About this property

The Bayside bungalow is the perfect place to stay after a long day of fishing. Located within walking distance of the boat ramp and only 200 yards from the water with an amazing waterfront view. Covered boat(with power) and car storage on site. Also features furnished kitchen, large front porch, cable TV, Wifi, and all of the creature comforts of home. Brand new two ton mini split. Fish cleaning table with power. The bungalow is the best value on the forgotten coast.

Tried to add on other expenses after stay

The owner has been saying we broke his TV. It was in the same condition when we left as when we first turned it on. It had a line through the center and was fuzzy, but it was only on at night for noise for our father to use to go to sleep. We told the owner we would be fishing, using the fish cleaning area each night to shuck oysters and clean fish for 5 days which we did. Now he is asking for more money to haul away our trash even though we only had a small place to store the trash with no weekly pick-up. Not our fault. We tried to clean the best we could prior to leaving, included the fish cleaning area. We wanted the owner to be pleased, knowing how much we enjoyed our stay. Then we started receiving threatening emails about the TV and paying for it . Then when we said no to that, he said we owed more for trash. Ridiculous! We would have given this stay the highest rating, were it not for us being scammed at the end of our stay! If the owner wants guests that are just going to take walks on the beach and go out to dinner every night, he should remove the fish station and state that in his description…no fishing cleaning or excess garbage during stay. Again, RIDICULOUS!
