The Summit at Ridge Top Resort is the tip top of the mountain with views of Mount Leconte but so much convenience in the heart of Pigeon Forge. 5 minutes to the Parkway. 7 to Dollywood. 5-10 minutes to almost every major attraction in Pigeon Forge. 25 to downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to Wears Valley and Sevierville. 7 minutes to the Island and the Mountain Mile - similar to the shoppes of Tanger Outlet Mall. Fully renovated tiny-home style cabins that have huge amenities and feel much larger than they are. Perfect for a couples getaway.

I have personally with my family renovated each of these cabins and the grounds. We have paid attention to every detail in the hopes of re-building the best little cabins we possibly could. I hope you find them as amazing as we are proud of them. The location, views, amenities and styling are second to none in our biased opinion.

Some other things to note (the fine print):

The Smoky Mountains are the native habitat for many creatures big and small. This includes bears, mice, snakes, and bugs. We do our best to keep the critters out and have regular pest-control service but every once in a while a critter may find its way near your home - especially Asian Beetles and Stink Bugs. This does not mean the unit has not been fully cleaned - it has. They are persistent little guys.

There is composting facility located nearby that can at times create an odor that affects this resort and as far away as the parkway and Dollywood. This is generally not a significant issue but depends entirely on wind and time of the year or day. The location, views, amenities we hope outweigh this potential inconvenience.

Shades of Grey is not a private secluded cabin. There are two cabins in close proximity in the village. That said, we have built privacy into the cabin by using privacy fencing to create a private back yard space for the cabin that does provide a level of seclusion. The red cabin adjacent this cabin as of 1/2/23 is vacant and will be remodeled in 2023.

A starter pack of items is provided by our cleaners as is standard to the area - 2 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, dishwasher packs and soaps. If you need additional items, the Food City is located less than 5 minutes away for them.

Please Purchase travel insurance as per VRBO's policy and our cancellation policy there are no refunds for weather related cancellations.

WONDERFUL
Talk about a wonderful place to stay! This cabin is at the peak of the mountain top and it is steep to get there, but the view and the cabin itself will take you into an oasis. This is a must stay again for my husband and I. We HIGHLY recommend!

The cabin itself is beautiful but has some.areas of opportunity. Therea a giant rust stain in the center of the bathtub and what appears to be rust around the tub; had to put a towel down to shower. The toilet wasnt fully cleaned had to clean it myself and a weird smell of feces in the bathroom upon arrival . For a small space it took a long while to warm the space even with the electric fireplace running with both heating units on, the front door doesnt fully close if its not locked, there are some cracks around the front door that made it drafty. There was only one set of bedsheets; had to purchase additional bedding. While the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils there were no butcher knives to use for meal prep. The host was kind enough to allow me a late checkout. The screnery in this area is beautiful. Great for watching the sunrise or just enjoying your peace.

Shades of Gray
We were in Pigeon Forge for a few nights, and we loved this adorable cabin. It is in a great location close to the parkway, but you could easily get to places while avoiding the busy traffic. It is a perfect size for two guests and had all of the amenities that you need. Bryan was a great host and communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Shades of Gray ☺️

Why they chose this property

LOCATION! VIEWS! BRAND NEWLY REMODELED - every inch with me and my family as 1/1/23. Modern styling. You are 5-10 minutes to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer. The view off the deck of cabin is spectacular. Private area with a fire pit, hot tub, swings to relax.

What makes this property unique

Views. The view of Mount Leconte is hard to beat.

Note - the roads are steep in the resort. All are newly paved at the Summit. The roads at the "Ridge Top Resort" below us that you drive through are still being worked on. I have a two wheel drive camaro and make it up without issue in normal conditions. Winter conditions will require 4 wd. But the views are absolutely worth the way up.
