The private gated resort community of 'Summit View' affords a safe and quiet locale, yet it’s easy to find and conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg near the area’s most popular attractions, such as Gatlinburg’s historic Arts & Crafts district and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. The cabin has mountain views and a cozy, Appalachian cabin feel from the moment you walk in.

Built in 2007 with the finest attention to detail and cabin chic furnishings, this elegantly decorated, luxurious and spacious 1350 sq. ft. two-story cabin features a 20-ft-high vaulted timber beam ceiling on the main level opening into the great-room area, a stacked stone gas fireplace operational during the heating season and a full open kitchen and dining area. The cabin has custom wooden blinds throughout and features two spacious outdoor decks. The covered deck on the front of the cabin faces east and the uncovered south-facing deck has mountain views of The Great Smoky Mountain National Park with wooden rockers, an outdoor dining table with four chairs, and 100% private four-person hot tub with incredible nighttime views of the moon and stars and daytime mountain view of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with scenic views from the hot tub of Mt. Leconte, Clingmans Dome and Mt. Guyot.

For quiet relaxation at the cabin, you can sit on the decks with views of the Great Smoky Mountains, rolling meadows and the tranquil forest while reading a good book; soak in the very private hot tub on the back deck; or gaze into the stone fireplace and feel the fire's warmth and comfort on chilly winter nights. Enjoy a game of billiards on the slate pool table in the game room, or fish in the resort’s catch-and-release fishing pond or in the many local trout streams, you can grill your catch on the park-style charcoal grill located at the cabin. Legacy Mountain Zip Lines is just 1-mile from Adohi Lodge. In addition to many great local whitewater and rafting companies.

I'm pleased that you're considering our Appalachian Mountain home mountain for your vacation or romantic getaway. The lodge is located in an exclusive gated resort community, offering you privacy, security, and peace of mind. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and has views of the Great Smokies, meadows, forest, and streams. The private back deck offers big skies by day and romantic moon-lit star gazing by night. It's our hope that our cabin exceeds all your wildest expectations and that you return year after year to enjoy our beautiful home.

According to the National Park Service, the bear population in the park is over 1600 bears and growing, along with deer, elk, turkey, groundhogs, wolves and many other small forest animals making the park their home. The fall leaf color displays start in mid-September in the elevations higher than 4000 feet (Mt. LeConte, Mt. Guyot, Clingmans Dome, Newfound Gap and along the Appalachian Trail) in the Park and surrounding Smokies, reaching their peak from October 1-15. In the lower elevations of about 1000 feet (Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg) peak color is usually seen October 15- November 7. Some suggested drives to enjoy the colors are Little River and Laurel Creek Roads between Sugarlands Visitors Center and Cades Cove. Keep in mind that traffic on Newfound Gap Road and Cades Cove Loop Roads are very heavy during leaf season, especially late in the day. So get up early and enjoy—then go for pancakes! or pack a picnic lunch.

Why they chose this property

FAQ -- Q&A
- Where is Adohi Lodge located?
Adohi Lodge is located between Gatlinburg’s historic Arts & Crafts district and Dollywood. The lodge is almost equidistant from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg (6 miles) and the attractions of Pigeon Forge (5 miles). You can travel to both places without having to get on the Parkway, which will keep you from getting stuck in traffic! We are also only 10 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park.

- Are the pictures of Adohi Lodge accurate?
What you see is what you get. Yes, Adohi Lodge is just as beautiful (inside and out) as the photos depict.

- How treacherous are the roads leading up to Adohi Lodge?
Not bad at all. The only incline you will have is for about 100 yds leading up to Adohi Lodge in the community road it sits off of. The community road is a little steep but VERY WIDE, with no hair raising turns or drop offs. Of course, as with all mountain driving, four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended during heavy snow, but Adohi Lodge's location really makes traveling to the lodge a snap for even the most tentative of drivers.

- What do we need to bring for our stay?
Very little, as Adohi Lodge is well stocked with all the cooking appliances, linens, utensils, games and books, and laundry facilities you need.

- Is the hot tub cleaned between guests?
Of course. After each guest departs, our cleaning staff drains the hot tub water, cleans the hot tub, installs a chemically sanitized filter, refills the hot tub, and chemically sanitizes the new water with bromine shock. A bromine floater helps the water stay clear and sanitized during your stay.

- What if we find a problem at Adohi Lodge upon check-in?
Please walk through the lodge upon check-in. Should you notice any problem with the lodge just call us or our local housekeeping staff. Contact information is provided as part of your VRBO rental information packet and inside the Guest Notebook or posted on the frig. We make every attempt to rectify the issue
