Great place for a week-long stay

This rental was perfect for a week-long stay with my family and my brother's family. The private dock and access to the lake were great. The house was plenty big for 7 of us and all of the things that came with the rental were very useful. We used the lily pad, stand-up paddleboards, life vests, etc just about every day.

Wonderful stay for a group!

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend at the lake. The house was clean and stocked with anything you might need during the stay. We had a group of 9, and with the pull out beds, everyone had a comfortable place to stay. The private swim dock was our favorite part!

We had a party of 9 and we all loved the house. The description in the listing is just about spot on. The boat slip is a little challenging at first, but is doable.

Great tucked away cove location

We had a wonderful couple of days swimming and exploring the surrounding area. The house was great for our needs. We brought our two dogs with us and they loved being on the deck and swim platform.

Wonderful gem on the lake!

The property was perfect for our group of 7. It had everything we needed and more. Everyone slept comfortably. The location (relative to the lake) is perfect. Just a few short minutes by boat from both Dog Days and Backwater Jack's. Highly recommend this property

Perfect size and location.

The house was decorated so pretty in fall decor! What a nice view. It had what we needed. Loved being able to use the boat dock, my husband loves to fish. The house was close to all the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The driveway is a little tricky but we handled it well.

The house was perfect for our large family. The weather didn't cooperate with us for 2-3 days but otherwise we loved the house on the water and took out a boat for a day that was an awesome time!

Beautiful view

The house was very clean and had everything we need for our stay. But the stairs outside are very steep and short stairs. Hard to walk on when wet. The queen bed needs replaced desperately. Sags bad Other than that, the house is very clean and would stay again

Nice house, but….

The house is nice. But the Property Management group was not responsive at all!! We melted the first two days at the house and couldn’t get the air below 78. They sent someone at 11 PM knocking on the door which scared the crap out of us. The house has major humidity problems, walking into the laundry room, they had laid towels all over the floor to absorb all of the wetness. Broken barstools, umbrellas, microwave needs to be replaced smells burnt and popping noises anything over 10 seconds. Refrigerator took two days to get it to cool down. Plan on using your coolers to keep things cold. The house is nice, but dirty needs a major cleaning and the property maintenance needs to respond to issues in a timely manner not days later. We couldn’t wait to come home!

We appreciate your taking he time for this review, however we do need to clarify some issues. The staff did attempt to support you on the air conditioning from the point of arrival and concern. They arrived at approximately 10 p.m. as we had been communicating on the matter up until that point. We had tried several things by phone / communication but they did not work as we continued to evaluate them - prompting the late visit. The refrigerator was not cooling because it was overloaded with dense room temperature material (beverages) - which we specifically recommend against for arrival. It was working for the guests who left the morning of your arrival - and continued to work for the next guests as well. We have the same report for the microwave - it was tested by our staff, worked, and continued to work for future stays. The towels we placed down for a leak around the water softner. It had been resolved but was still damp in that area so the towels were placed approximately 2 hours prior to your arrival - to prevent any wet floor / slip risk. They had not been there for a period of time and the leak was reported by the guest leaving that morning. The barstool "broken" had a loose lower foot bar which was repaired and the umbrella was addressed as well (though not broken, just out of position). We do learn of issues through our cleaners, inspectors, and guests and address them in a timely manner - even to the extent of arriving at 10 p.m. when an issue isn't resolved and a guest is frustrated with their stay. I am sorry to hear this was your experience. I do hope you were able to take some time to enjoy the wonderful location of this home in the midst of all there is to do at Lake of the Ozarks.
