Spectacular Oceanfront, Harvey Cedars, LBI, Amazing Views

Fairly new home completed in June 2018 and built with a lot of love and care. We plan to use it for most of the year for ourselves but have it listed here to share with some small families for a few weeks, WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF IT LIKE THEIR OWN. We don't permit ANY SMOKING OR PETS, so please DO NOT ask. In as much as we would like, we are not in a position to change our rental rates.

We offer it for rent for a handful of weeks in July and August to selected families. We have a FRIDAY TO FRIDAY rental. This will make it easier to get to and leave the island. Also, gives you a full weekend when you come.

DESCRIPTION: Spectacular Views, Central Air, Wifi, Elevator, Hot Tub, Speakers on all decks, 3 decks including a rooftop deck, upscale appliances, indoor and outdoor furniture.

It is a 6 bedroom, 4 full bath and 2 half bath single family home. 3 bedrooms are master suites, all with attached baths and amazing oceanfront views. One of those 3 is the master bedroom on the top floor. The other 2 are on the first floor. There will be 3 additional bedrooms. Two of them have 2 pairs of bunk beds and one has two twin beds. The house will be able to sleep 16. Ideally suited for small families. There are decks on each floor with spectacular views of the ocean in addition to a roof deck with amazing ocean and bay views.

Home is reverse living with a large kitchen and a great room on the top floor and the master bedroom. There will be an elevator, 2 car garage, a gas grill and a fireplace.

We have two wet bars, one in the great room on the second floor and one in the family room on the first floor.

We have a Sonos audio system with speakers on all decks including the roof top deck, great room and the family room. The TV in the living room is a 65" TV with surround sound and attached Apple TV. Each bedroom has it's own TV with Comcast and Netflix. There is high speed internet access with 3 wifi access points in different locations in the house to give good coverage.

Reviews below are from folks who have stayed in our older home which was a duplex.

There are spectacular views of the ocean, perfectly centered on the beach, has direct beach access, 20 feet away. The lifeguard stand is located directly in front of the house so it's great for parents/kids. It is located on a private drive so kids can easily walk back and forth to beach for food, bathroom, etc. A super bay front park/playground is just 2 blocks away, includes tennis, basketball, playground equipment, baseball field, crabbing dock, fishing pier, exercise course, horseshoes, volleyball court and great sunsets for all.

Harvey Cedars marina is across the road. Enjoy kayak rentals at the marina. Causeway Boat rental is a short drive away where you can rent boats.

It is a great location for families with children as we are on a private street and there is no through traffic. There is parking for 4 cars on a brand new paved driveway.

Relax on the deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the ocean and enjoying the sounds of the waves.

Fantastic location, beautiful home

We rented this beautiful home for two weeks in July. I've rented many, many homes over the years in LBI and this house is definitely in the top 1% of available home rentals in terms of both location and quality. The home's oceanfront location is spectacular and the windows take advantage of the beautiful views. There is also a lifeguarded beach right over the dunes and it is a short walk to Bayview Park which has free concerts and other events. The house itself is updated, very clean and has a very spacious layout which makes it great for extended family gatherings. One note for future renters is that the VRBO site lists the main master as a Queen size bed. I'm pretty sure it is a king, so plan your bedding accordingly! Thank you Dinesh and Renu for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful Beach Vacation Home

We really loved this home - newly redone and in beautiful shape. It was great to share with family and friends with bunk rooms for the kids. The location was perfect and the views of the beach were spectacular - especially from the roof deck! The owners were incredibly responsive with any minor issues. Wonderful home all around and made for a great vacation.

Great week on LBI. House was perfect for our family reunion. Great comfortable common spaces but also plenty of privacy. Hot tub under the stars and porch overlooking the beach were big hits. Beach restoration already completed with easy access. Highly recommended

Wonderful vacation home.

We had the good fortune to be able to rent both the up and downstairs units for the week. Both are mirror images of one another and are very well appointed. The beachfront location was perfect for the grandkids to come and go as they wished. The sunset views from the upper deck were fantastic. The home is situated close to markets (Neptune, one mile north) and is geared more towards a relaxing family vacation as opposed to the bustle of the south end of the island. Everyone (ages 9 to 70) had a wonderful time. Dinesh was a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely recommend the rental very highly. Looking forward to next year.

Perched right on the dunes overlooking the sea

This was our first time to LBI and I was so happy that we chose Harvey Cedars and this house in particular. The oceanfront homes in Harvey Cedars have an absolutely breathtaking view of a wide horizon on dunes and ocean. It's not just that you can see the sea, it's that you have a panorama that seems to go on for miles and miles. And this particular house is sited diagonally on a double plot so that two of the bedrooms (the master and the one with two twins) have magnificent views that complement that panoramic view of the main living area. Best part: In either of those two rooms, you can really hear the surf (loud) all night and feel the sea breezes as you sleep. Wonderful. Other than that, the house is clean and neat with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect beach house!

This was the second year renting this property. We love it! It sits on the sand, with perfect views! The inside is clean, and the outdoor shower is the best! New gas grill...laundry..everything you need for a perfect getaway. Any questions I had were quickly answered by Dinesh..I would highly recommend this house! Looking forward to next year..Diane

Wonderful Vacation Location - on the beach!

This is a perfect spot for oceanfront vacation idyll! The home is lovely - outfitted with all that you need to make your stay a good one. The photos accurately reflect the home and the location. It is clean - which is so important. The location in Harvey Cedars is convenient on the north side of long beach island. it is on a 'lane' which makes it quieter. The marina is right down the block to rent kayaks, etc. restaurants are nearby if you can tear yourself from the ocean. Most importantly, the owners are first class. They were very helpful in answering any questions that we had. We would recommend to our friends for sure!

A place me and my family keep coming back too............

This is a wonderful rental property that is perfect for my family of 5. I have 3 boys 11,6 and 4 and they love being here due to all the fun things to do on the island and the proximity to the beach. This apartment works no matter the weather...on a stormy afternoon you can still be in the apartment and feel relaxed as you look out to sea. It is a very calm and peaceful place to stay and when we come back home we are always refreshed and happy. I am also happy to report that 'Sandy' has had very little long tem affect on the island...there are a few issues at the south end but here in Harvey Cedars it is almost back to normal. The dunes are being re-built right now so my 4 yr old was delighted to watch the workers. I highly recommend this property to rent as you won't be sorry if you do.

Location, location, location.....

We just returned from a wonderful time on the bottom floor of this house. We desperately needed some relaxation and received it here. Even though you cannot see the ocean from the bottom floor, you can certainly hear it. It is that close. I want to thank the owner, Dinesh, for her patience and kindness throughout the booking process. The mixup we had certainly worked out in our favor and it was greatly appreciated. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone. It is not the Ritz but it is comfortable and convenient to nearby activities. I also would recommend Neptune Market for sandwiches, Plantation Bar for their Rum Runner and Bisque Restaurant for a great dinner.

Another year of great vacation at Harvey Cedars!!!

Another year of fun and relaxation at Harvey Cedars!! When we went last year, I knew that we'll keep coming back. Everyone had a great time, the children especially. They can't decide whether swim in the ocean or the bay! Tough choice. My husband, John and I sat by the deck each morning, put our feet up, had a cold drink, enjoyed the cool breeze, and said to ourselves "this is good living.... what a life!" Exceptional Vacation House in Harvey Cedars, LBI.

This is a great duplex RIGHT ON the beach in Harvey Cedars, LBI. I rented both the top and bottom which are mirror images of each other for a week (3BR, 1BA, full kitchen in each). The place was spotless and very modern with flat screens and WIFI connections. Has two gas grilles, a washer/dryer and outside showers. If the opportunity presents itself I will rent this property again. Each duplex has 6 beach passes so there was a total of 12 passes for the week. I had mostly older people (30+) at the house for the week with the exception of one day when a colleague brought his 3 kids to the house/beach. I think this house is better for older folks and not the best for young kids or college kids looking to party as Harvey Cedars is more "secluded and quiet" than Surf City and the Southern Side of LBI. Perfect weather, a picturesque, semi-private beach, and a great place to stay made our vacation quite memorable. Highly recommend this house to people looking for a quiet getaway.

True Paradise for families with kids

We were fortunate to be able to rent this place for Thanksgiving 2010. The new owners had just taken over the property but they were extremely nice and accomodating. They made sure that we had everything we would need to cook/enjoy our holiday and keep our kids comfortable, even if that meant making new purchases (such as comforters etc.). The house was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. It has beautiful views of the ocean. The private driveway helped with letting our kids play soccer outside when it was too cold to hang out at the beach. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and will hopefully visit soon.

AMAZING !!

The home was in pristibe condition, the property was well stocked with items which the owner specifically details in the home bio, and its location on the beach is pure perfection !! Love the beach here......and the quiet surroundings

We are a professional couple (a physician and a retired reference librarian) and enjoy the ocean. We love to travel. We live about an hour and a half from LBI, near Princeton and love every minute we get to spend in our home on Harvey Cedars. We fell in love with this property when we bought it in 2010. We had an older duplex home till 2016.

Why they chose this property

LBI is one of the favorite spots on the NJ shore. The beaches are beautiful and LBI is well connected to NY, Philadelphia and Atlantic City is close by.

What makes this property unique

House is located on a private street with no through traffic. There is ample parking. The lifeguards are located directly in front of the house during the season. Restaurants are close by. The marina is across from the road and the Harvey Cedars Sunset park is a stone's throw away. The sounds of the ocean are amazing and soothing.
