About this property

Kick back and relax in this newly updated riverfront cabin. Enjoy a weekend spent fishing, tubing down the Peshtigo River or having family time at our private, wooded lot. In winter, enjoy coffee in our bright space looking out at the private wooded landscape or relax watching Netflix. In summer, enjoy the outdoors by utilizing the patio or the fire pit , playing in the woods leading down to the river, or spending a day at the park on nearby Lake Noquebay.

The space
Cook in the recently updated kitchen or barbecue on the patio on the new gas grill. The bathroom has new fixtures and clean shower/tub. Play games or watch Netflix in the cozy living room or open dining area. After a long day of play, retire to the loft with 2 queen beds with new memory foam mattresses and queen size sleeper sofa! For the little ones we are supplied a pack n play for sleeping, an array of toys to discover, and a sandbox on the patio to enjoy some outside time. There's a fire pit for wood campfires, by the patio. We also have a electric fireplace for cozy winter nights.

Definitely smaller than I thought it would be from the pictures. Might be a good idea to have some washcloths in the bathroom and the kitchen? (We couldn't find even one.) It's super-quiet and very relaxing.

Nice cabin

Very clean inside with comfortable furniture and nice towels, and stocked kitchen. Everything seemed pretty new. Coffee bar and popcorn nice treat. Wifi was great as were the games and puzzles. Comfortable beds and pull-out couch. Smaller than appears pictures. A few areas are not completed with construction, but it did not affect stay. The downside and why I rated a 4 for cleanliness was the area directly around the cabin. Because of the location of the cabin, there needs to be some significant mosquito management. We used Yard guard and it did not help, nor did repellent. We could not be outside at all. There was a wall of mosquitoes surrounding the house. No campfires or enjoying the patio. There is not a dedicated path to the river and due to the muck and bugs we could not enjoy the river either. A rustic boardwalk would be helpful if it is going to be advertised as an on the river property. A lot of signs in the area for mosquito control, so maybe the whole area is buggy.

Secluded cabin getaway

My Wife and I stayed at the cabin this past weekend and had an amazing time. We were mostly looking for a quiet spot to escape the city, and this cabin was definitely that. It had the amenities we were looking for (full kitchen, grill, and fire pit), and was relatively close to Crivitz and Peshtigo for opportunities to venture out and check our bars, restaurants, and local attractions. We both enjoyed the winery just outside of Peshtigo. Our hosts also went above and beyond our expectations. The beds were in need of minor repairs, and they drove three hours to fix the beds and made sure that everything was right at the drop of a hat. It wasn’t necessary, but we really appreciated it and got an amazing night’s sleep the following night.
