Was lovely and very central to all the events and town. The only thing was it wasn’t clean when we checked in but they took care of that right away.

Clamdigger Cottage
The house was a good size foe my family and close to everything in Seabrook. The only thing is that the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom is moldy and the downstairs TV in the living room didn’t work and didn’t have a DVD player as mentioned in the cottage description.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear that the house was a good size for your family and that you enjoyed the convenient location. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with the shower curtain and the TV. We’ve addressed the moldy curtain, and we’re looking into the TV situation to ensure it’s in working order, along with the availability of a DVD player as mentioned. We appreciate your input and hope to have the chance to welcome you back for an improved stay!

Overrated
We have rented in the neighborhood multiple times and have had great homes in the past. The clamdigger was not what we were hoping at all. The range wasn’t working well at all for cooking, the main t.v. Was very quiet and the soundbar wouldn’t work. As for the backyard the landscape was very poor, our dogs would be able to escape with no problem and it was very messy. There was no laundry detergent in the home and we were all around dissatisfied. We won’t be back to the clamdigger cottage. It was not worth the high cost for the weekend.

bees
The house was very nice, however , the two front hedges were loaded full of bees. we had to fight off the bees every time we left the house getting to the car and then when returning to go into the house! It was not pleasant!
We stayed here in early spring and came back for the last week of October. My perfect birthday, perfect weather, clam digging, and walking the beach with our 2 golden retrievers. First time night digging, got out limits, & enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. Now, the house, we love the space. It’s just the 2 of us & our dogs. We choose to sleep in the upstairs bedroom with the king size bed. Our dogs sleep in the room too, so we have plenty of space. The bed is pretty comfortable. Overall only 2 complaints & only minor. The upstairs shower head is pretty plugged up, I’m sure it’s the hard water & a continuous issue. The couch is large, a little too soft for our taste, fairly comfy. We found that we had to push it back away from the TV, which is over the fireplace, or you sit with your head tilted up to watch it. Since we bring our dogs, this a great dog friendly house, nice little fenced yard so we can let them out on their own. All in all, highly recommended. Thank you for a great vacation.

Leave it all behind
We booked 4 nights here as an extended birthday celebration. A perfect retreat for the two of us and our two golden retrievers. We chose to sleep upstairs in the king bed, which was VERY comfortable. There was a bit more floor space in the room for our dogs to sleep. The yard was fenced in, so the 2am potty break meant I could let them out, stand inside in the mud room where it was warm & wait rather than to go out on a walk. We awoke the first morning to see deer bedded down under the trees in front of the house, then they moved onto the play field to eat. We had 2 great meals at the pizza place and @ the restaurant. I enjoyed the kitchen space, coffees first thing , then I cooked breakfast everyday. This is only our second stay at Seabrook, and I’m sure this will be top of the list for next time. It wasn’t a clamming weekend so there weren’t too many people around, which made for a perfect retreat.
