About this property

Seabrook's Sea Glass Tumbler: Dog Friendly

Professionally managed onsite by Seabrook Hospitality. By booking with Seabrook Hospitality, you have access to all resort amenities, including the pool and gym.

Welcome to the Sea Glass Tumbler!

This is a bright and beautiful craftsman home near the town center, central to all that is Seabrook. You’ll find an inviting southern-facing, covered wrap-around porch with plenty of seating to enjoy the activity in Meriweather Square throughout the year, just minutes from the bakery, restaurants and shopping.  Around the corner is the grand staircase, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, field, and indoor pool.

Sea Glass will comfortably sleep up to 14 guests, with five bedrooms in the main house and one in the carriage house. The lovely outdoor space includes a private firepit, garden patio, BBQ and covered hot tub to enjoy throughout the year.

The large living space is perfect for group or multi-family gatherings and is often used as the central home for multi-house group events. It has a cozy woodstove, big screen TV and comfy seating area for your group to enjoy together. The Sea Glass is a dog-friendly home and includes dog beds, dog towels, an outdoor shower and hose for post-beach cleanup.

The kitchen has white quartz countertops with stainless appliances and is well equipped to make meal prep a dream. A centrally located large dining room table will seat up to 11 plus three more at the kitchen island for large dinners.

The light and bright mudroom with full-sized appliances and deep sink flows into a back hall with built-in cubbies where you can store shoes, hang jackets and beach towels, and set whatever you bring in to keep the kitchen and living room clutter free.
The second floor has three large corner bedrooms of similar size each with queen-sized beds, seating areas and walk-in closets. A smaller corner bedroom has a twin bunk bed and desk. The second floor has two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub, both with radiant heat tile floors.

The third floor is light and bright and fun, housing a large media room with comfortable seating and cozy throw blankets. Great for spending together time, there are DVDs, books, a game table, and cupboards chock full of games and puzzles. The third floor also offers a great view of the town center. An adjoining bedroom with a set of twin trundle beds and large bathroom provide a great sleepover experience for kids.

The carriage house behind the home makes for a nice getaway for two. It includes a queen bed, TV w/DVD player, desk, and private bathroom. The kitchenette with quartz counters and stainless sink also includes a coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge.

Quality Internet access, desks and extra monitors are provided in both the main house and the carriage house for those times when you need to connect to work or school with your laptop. A single car garage and outdoor parking for up to 3 cars keeps your vehicles near and dear.

The bedrooms are a tribute to those innovators before us and have the following configurations:
Starkweather: queen bed
Gates: queen bed
Lovelace: queen bed
Perlman: 2 twin beds (bunkbed)
Hopper: 4 twin beds (2 trundles)
Turing (carriage house): queen bed

Fantastic House
We were in Seabrook for my daughter’s wedding. In addition to this house, other members of the extended family rented other accommodations, so we were able to see those as well. This house was easily the nicest of the four we were in. Only downside (but it had nothing to with the house per se) was there were two lengthy power outages while we were there, affecting the whole community.

My Family Loves Seabrook
Everyone in my family loves Seabrook. Started out 13 0r 14 years ago It was a time for moms and kids to spend 3-4 days. The kids were small and now high school grads and college grads. We kept increasing the days and renting bigger homes. Our family increased to 16 people. One year we rented an extra time to show the men folk where we stayed. We now stay a week. We all live in the Puget Sound area so Seabrook was the best choice. Enjoy watching Seabrook expand. We also have a ton of Seabrook sweatshirts/t shirts.. Janet Wick
