The home is absolutely adorable, we loved the fire pit in the back yard and our kiddo said the hammock was “so comfy”. The house feels homey and the small touches left by the host really elevated our stay. We would recommend this as a home base for a stay in the area!

We loved this rental. We were there for the weekend to attend a concert at the Hard Rock. It was perfect for our family. Very clean and she had a lot of thoughtful extras like fresh muffins!

Very thoughtfully appointed home. I did not initiate much communication with the host during this trip, but the one inquiry I made was addressed swiftly and effectively. Hopefully we did not disturb the neighbors too much with our trying to double dutch!

This property was perfect & Angela thought of everything! Neighborhood was fine & quiet for the most part. .5 mile from Hardrock Cafe & 20 minutes from the beach! Good central location for everything if you don't want to stay in a motel.

What a fantastic stay!!! The house is wonderful. Beautifully decorated. Impeccably clean. We were greeted to a beautiful display of fresh blueberry muffins on the kitchen table.So yummy!!! EVERY amenity/convenience is covered. Flashlights in each bedroom for old people like my hubby and I. Fans for sleeping in both bedrooms. Air mattresses for additional guests. Pack n' Play. Extra sheets, blankets and pillows. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee station, laundry area plus bathroom amenities. Fire pit area in the backyard. Covered grill area in the backyard. Outdoor games. Indoor games. Roku TV's throughout. Charming back porch area. I'm mean this host has some serious satisfaction goals for guests!! Gary, Indiana doesn't have the greatest reputation but that should not deter anyone. This is a "hidden gem". We stayed on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. Neighborhood was very quiet. We never even dogs barking. We had groceries delivered our first morning. Delivery was within 45 minutes and driver had no trouble finding us. If the music fest we attended, returns to the area, we will definitely be booking the Laurna D house again!!! P.S - we ended up eating ALL of the muffins in 3 days!!!!

Superb stay!

We were at the property for a week, and it was perfect - great property, exactly as described. Clean, super comfortable beds, every room had more than what we needed. And, we were greeted with fresh baked muffins. Lots of extras that the host obviously does out of kindness. We’ll be back next year! Thank you!

This home had everything we needed for our trip splitting time between Chicago and the Indiana Dunes National Park. The kitchen had every gadget we could have dreamed of needing, including a waffle maker. It truly felt like we were staying at a home, not an investment property with the bare minimum. But, the best part was walking in the home and smelling (and seeing!) how clean it was on arrival.

No issues would stay again

Yes this property isn't in the best area, but the house itself is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The fire pit is nice and they even have a s'mores kit! There are games, balls and a hula hoop for the kids. We stayed here to see Beyonce in Chicago and we'd do it again. Even had a free parkpass to get to the beaches l. It's a 10/10

While we had no issues in the neighborhood, it felt a little unsafe. The house is EXCELLENT. Clean and comfy beds. Everything thought of. Secure doors and great decor. So very cute inside. Loved the house itself!!
