The main floor features a ‘Chef’s Kitchen’ waiting for you to prepare fabulous meals. Enjoy the little extras such as a nugget ice maker, wine fridge, and K-cup pod coffee maker. An expansive patio awaits with seating for 8 at the large dining table, overhead heaters and an outdoor kitchen with built-in BBQ, and flat-top grill. When the sun goes down, continue the evening by the large firepit with golf course views.

The primary bedroom is located on the main floor with a king bed, ensuite bathroom, TV, and walk out patio to the private hot tub. The connecting bath features a luxurious soaking tub, heated floor and oversized shower.

Upstairs you will find a second ensuite bedroom with a king bed. Additionally, there are 2 king bedrooms that share a hallway bathroom. Lastly, there is a large bunkroom furnished with three extra tall twin bunk beds and a TV. The bunkroom has its own bathroom accessed from the hallway.

The garage has been converted into a game room with a heater. There are several experiences including air hockey, foosball, shuffle board, pop-a-shot, cornhole and ladder ball. Additionally, there are various pieces of sports equipment which can be used at the nearby Dawson park including pickleball, tennis and basketball.

The garage includes a Level 2 40amp electric vehicle charger with a J1772 charging plug. The charger includes a 24-foot cable which can reach several parking spots in the driveway.

*** Please note, we are unable to offer access to the Suncadia swim and fitness center at this time due to resort regulations. You will not be charged an $80 to $110 nightly "resort fee" when renting this home.
Maximum of 6 cars in the driveway. Suncadia prohibits street parking at all times.
Age limit to book this home is 28yrs. All guests will be required to sign a rental agreement after the reservation is accepted. Signed rental agreement will be considered the final guest count.
No animals are allowed on the property.
This property is intended for the enjoyment of the guests listed on the rental agreement. Please no large parties containing additional persons not staying at the property overnight.
We respect your privacy. The property contains 2 cameras for security. 1 camera located in the doorbell near the front door. 1 camera located on the outside of the patio roof aiming towards the golf course. This camera does not capture the hot tub area. ***

Miner's Retreat is a beautiful property with many wonderful amenities. It suited our group exceedingly well. In particular, a great game area was one of the initial criteria for selecting this home. Perfect home for a family getaway

Everything about this house is beautiful-glass entry doors, elegant and unique finishes in every bedroom, nature-centric decorative pieces. Front and backyard landscaping is very nice, the patio is spacious with spectacular golf course views and wild life visitors. The house was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. This is a rental home, but has such a warm atmosphere around it, definitely stands out from other properties we rented in Suncadia. Would love to come back for another family getaway.

Miner's Retreat had everything we needed for our family get-together of six adults and three kids (2 1/2, 3 and 6 years old). Beautiful property; excellent layout for all activities. Well equipped kitchen where we cooked extra special meals each day. Love the extra large pantry which we filled so the big kitchen island stayed clear of food and our supplies. Plush beds and charming bunk room as pictured. Peaceful and private backyard to complement a truly luxurious home. Excellent communication with host. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful spacious home with a gorgeous gourmet kitchen and living space. The house has comfortable bedrooms and a relaxing outdoor space. We thoroughly loved our time here! The owners were thoughtful and detailed with design, cleanliness, and amenities to make our stay enjoyable. Our kids loved having their own bunk room, as well as being within walking distance of Dawson Park. We all enjoyed the game room and fire pit! Waking up to the golf course views with a cup of coffee was so relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend renting Miner’s Retreat. We wish we could have stayed longer and are looking forward to visiting again.

Fabulous location for a family get together!

When I found this property on VRBO I liked it for a number of reasons - location, indoor and outdoor space, and the amenities and condition of the property. The photos are accurate but truly do not do justice to how nice this home is! Outdoors: large firepit, large and very clean hot tub, beautiful natural landscaping and ponderosa pines, lots of space to sit outside and read, talk, or dine, and a nice grill area as well. Rooms were very neat and tidy, well appointed and comfortable. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were great for our group of 11 and we spent lots of time together cooking, eating, and playing games. The owners were very responsive to a few house issues as well as helping me figure out how to retrieve an Amazon delivery (deliveries are only to the mailboxes at the Suncadia Real Estate office.)The only things that were concerning were the following and not huge issues, and I am certain the owners will address the things I mentioned to them as well as everything on this list: one of the windows was broken (golf ball) but only the outer pane, some of the jets in the hot tub did not work, some of the window screens were not seated in place and held in place by tape, the upstairs rooms did not get as much airflow as we wanted and were warmer in the day (but cool at night if you opened the windows), the front piece of the vegetable drawer was not connected to the drawer, and some outlets in the kitchen seemed like they may not have been wired well.
