Mostly positives, but outside seemed neglected.
Anastasia was very responsive and accommodating re. check in and communications. We happened to swing by early just to find the rental, and happened to meet her. She was very nice, she told us of a fun coffee shop, and said she would text us if she had the rental done a little earlier than the 3pm check in time. The house was cleaned and prepared for guests as one would hope for and expect. We LOVED the quiet neighborhood.
However, in contrast, the lack of attention to the yard and its care was surprising, and somewhat disappointing. Knee high weeds filling the yard…obviously had been that way for awhile, multiple yard tools laying criss cross on the deck steps, deteriorating newspaper left under the mailbox in the grass. Don't know the city garbage pickup schedule, but the 2 large garbage bins on the outside of the house were completely full. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt…so maybe something happened that these things were not attended to.
Even though there were these outdoor/yard situations that could have been better….would we stay there again? Yes.
