Located in the heart of Chico, one block from beautiful Bidwell Park and a short walk to downtown, this charming, newly-renovated bungalow offers everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway. Whether you're sipping coffee on the front porch or trying your hand at bocce ball in the backyard under the twinkle lights, this sweet, completely redone 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home provides a clean and comfortable place for you to enjoy all that Chico has to offer. Be sure to check out the legendary jukebox from Duffy's Bar in downtown Chico, given to us as a wedding present! Grab the beach chairs and head to One-Mile, the local swimming park just a couple of blocks away. Or hop on a beach cruiser bike and take a ride through tree-lined streets, just a few blocks to the heart of downtown Chico. Plenty of street parking directly in front of the house. PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER OF TRAVELERS BOX WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING TO INDICATE IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET. Additional $25 pet cleaning fee will be applied. Great for a quick weekend trip. Kids loved the enclosed yard and bocce ball. It was a little loud with road noise but other than that a great place. And the jukebox was awesome.

The Bidwell Park bungalow is super cute. It was very comfortable for my family of four. My husband and sons had fun playing bocce ball. It is close to downtown Chico. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return.

The host was very generous to give us permission to bring 2 dogs. We really appreciated that, but there wound up being a lose fence post and our dogs got out of the yard and one of them almost got hit by a car because this house is on a busy street. The host wasn’t able to come out and fix it, so we fixed it ourselves. Other than that, everything was great.

Beautifully maintained property, very convenient for everything. We were moving our child into Chico State dorms so didn't have much time to enjoy the amenities outside (plus it was HOT!), but the couch was perfect for the relaxation we needed! Bed was very comfortable and we just generally had a really great stay! Hope to come back at some point!

We came up to Chico to visit out daughter at Chico State and this house was just perfect for our family. Great location, clean, comfortable and a great back yard for BBQ and Bocce hang out. Close to everything, we could walk to get coffee and have breakfast. We will stay here again.

NOT too good to be true!

We spent three nights at this adorable and practical house. Everything we needed was provided, the furnishings were comfortable, and the location was perfect - just a few short blocks to the park and to town. I kinda don't want to let the secret out so that next time I'm looking for accommodations, you won't have snatched it up!
