We enjoyed our 2-night stay overall and the property was as advertised, actually brighter and more updated than in photos we saw at the time. Beds were comfy, kitchen functional, views were beautiful. Check-in was easy.
We did have an issue with the smart tv, not easily able to find a program on a “regular” channel - an important live program (MLB playoff game for our team). May sound silly, but very important to us!! We had no luck reaching or hearing back from the property manager and couldn’t easily communicate with the owner. Luckily we figured it out but it wasn’t easy. This was our only issue. Overall very pleasant stay.
This property was great in that it was waterfront with beautiful sunrise views and sea glass in the sand! At first, the home felt eerie but by morning, we felt that the house was quaint and private with wonderful sunlight entering through the windows. The sounds of waves and seagulls was a huge plus! We had a much more comfortable second day than we did the first, but I think that may have been due to the darkness on arrival, eeriness of the basement, and how dated the home was. But it was actually very unique. There was a full bathroom and kitchen with nearly everything that you needed to make a basic meal. The check-in process was easy and the washer and dryer were convenient to our stay. I can’t say that the area offered very much, but that was perfectly fine for us, as we prefer to stay in secluded areas like this one, where we can unwind and relax.
