DRAGONFLY is a retro-chic motor lodge with a little nostalgia thrown in from those road trips gone by.

We are a self-check-in property with a fresh renovation and a sixty-year old story. It is our pleasure to share our vintage yet undeniably modern suites.

DRAGONFLY is the perfect "Base Camp"to get away from the crowds and explore Utah's picturesque outdoor playground. We are located in the heart of Utah's Mighty 5 - National and Utah State Parks (Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capital Reef and Zion). Plus, Grand Canyon, Kodachrome, Grand Staircase, to name a few. Each of our suites are supplied for an extended stay.

Very nice

Our room was very clean. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Air conditioner was fairly loud so we turned it off and slept comfortably. I would definitely stay here again. The price was excellent.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The room was remodeled and nicely decorated. The bed was big and comfy. Jenn was friendly and had good suggestions for dinner and morning coffee places. We will definitely stay here again if we are in town.

Amazing and comfortable stay

Our stay here was amazing. The communication from the owners beforehand removed any doubt that it would be complicated. They were there when we arrived and welcomed us with lots of enthusiasm. They even gave us great recommendations on where to get dinner and coffee the next morning. They really made our one night restful and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Hi! I'm Jenn & I'm Brent! August 2022 we purchased, to bring back to life, a 1950's Motor Lodge located on iconic Highway 89, in the historic town of Panguitch, UT. Where we live the simple life.

We chose Panguitch for a many reasons; However, the main reason was we both have family roots here and a sense of pride in the community of Panguitch. Second, was our location.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Utah’s Mighty 5, Southern Utah's picturesque playground. We are only twenty-five minutes from Bryce Canyon and an hour of the east entrance of Zion (less crowded), an hour and half from North Rim Grand Canyon. Easy access to world-class trailheads at Red Canyon. Panguitch Lake, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Escalante Grand Staircase, Kodachrome Basin State Park, Brian Head and many more state and national parks.
