House ok, neighborhood not the greatest.

The house itself was clean, but when my daughter visited, we found lots of ants in the guest bedroom beds. The Master bedroom had very itchy sheets. Needed Heat a few mornings, and description said there was heat. However, when we contacted the Host, we were told no heat. The property is located one block off of HWY 54 and has a trashy house right next door of which the owners let their dog run loose and it poops in the driveway and yard. Decided to leave a day early and we were refunded the amount for the day.

Thank you for sharing feedback with us to improve on our experience for future guests! Pest control has addressed the ants in the guest room as that has not previously been an issue we have encountered. We are sorry to hear you did not find our 100% cotton sheets comfortable. Three space heaters have been added to the home and specified in our listing. Regarding the neighbor and their pets, we have a fenced in backyard but are unable to control the environment in our front yard but have spoke with the neighbors about their pup. In the future, I encourage guests to bring up their concerns prior to their check-out date so that we as hosts can remedy any issues to improve the quality of their stay.

I grew up familiar with New Port Richey, FL. It is a safe and family centered city with great weather. There are some attractions near but also further out making it a great for a retreat.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part of the house is the patio with the pool view. It is very peaceful to sit there and enjoy your coffee or read a book. But it is also a great place for entertainment and relaxing after enjoying the pool.
