At approximately 4,000 square feet, this brand-new contemporary mountain home has it all! Whether you're coming for ski, golf, lake, or just a weekend away, there is not another home as well set up as this! Beyond the large sliding doors is the expansive outdoor living space which includes built-in gas grill, fire pit, trestle table, rocking and Adirondack chairs.

Guests take delight in the home’s beautifully appointed, multi-level living areas with separate sleeping and entertaining zones. The home includes three generously sized California King Suites with ensuite bathrooms, and a cozy sleeping alcove with twin beds. The Primary Suite is a true sanctuary, complete with a California king-sized bed, fireplace, and private ensuite bath. It includes access to an outdoor patio overlooking hole #1 where you can savor your morning coffee while taking in the awe-inspiring nature and golf views.

The home includes three generously sized primary ensuites with California king-sized beds and a cozy sleeping alcove with (2) twin beds.

In the upper east wing, a private entertainment/media flex room features a luxurious sleeper sofa and plush décor for chilly winter days and can also double as an impromptu sleeping space for overnight guests who long to linger. The media room also features a built-in wet bar, 65-inch plasma television and large, stunning bathroom with shower. The décor of the home is best described as ‘informal elegance’ and is highlighted with beautiful hardwood floors and designer furnishings and accoutrements. The natural aspect of this rustic modern home carries throughout to the fabrics and upholstery which features fine linens, luxurious throw pillows, natural jute, sisal, and hides. The open A-framed living area features a vaulted ceiling, elegant bronze patina lantern and commanding stone and steel-wrapped fireplace. Oversized windows and doors bring in ample natural light and offer an easy sightline to the first fairway, one of the more stunning plays on the course. When it snows, you have the sensation of being in a snow globe! THINGS TO NOTE: This home does not have standard air conditioning, but does feature a central fan system.

The HOA has rules in place pertaining to hours of work, noise, etc; however some nuisance may be expected.

PLACER COUNTY STR ORDINANCE: Placer County requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. These policies are strictly enforced and fines from the county ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 can be issued to guests for each violation.

PARKING: All cars must be parked in the garage and/or driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited at all times.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors.

LIGHTS OUT: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week.

RED FLAG WARNINGS: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited. It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.

TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in the bear-proof trash receptacles located within the properties garage.

Our family stayed here the week of Thanksgiving and it could not have been a more perfect home! We had a one year old on an east coast time difference so that bonus room above the garage was the ideal place to keep her entertained at 4:00 am while the rest of the family was sleeping. A really spacious house, immaculate, great location, and every amenity we needed for our stay! Schaffer Mill is a lovely neighborhood for walking, close to a gorgeous Raley’s (more like a Whole Foods), and just a few minutes to Truckee to the west and Northstar and Lake Tahoe to the east. I highly recommend this luxurious home and will stay again next time we are in the Reno Tahoe area!

Spacious and well equipped house
There were 3 couples in our group and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Overall above satisfactory but room for improvement. Upstairs beds were too hard and shower head too high. Felt like house could use a deep clean/dusting/cobweb removal. Upholstery and carpet seemed doggie. BBQ grates were filthy. Lots of potential just needs a bit more TLC.

Peaceful Winter Getaway
January anniversary trip with just "us" and our Newfouondland Dog. A week after the huge December snowstorm, very peaceful and quiet. Stunning snowy views from every window, ice dripping from the eaves, warm cozy fire. The house is beautiful! We got some great pictures of the black dog in the snow, his first time to play in the white stuff. Super fun. The only faults.....Microwave was tripping the circuit breaker and wall oven would not work. Cable TV is different in every room and the living room box requires an advanced degree in computer science to work. Fortunately, Zack was dispatched by the property manager and saved us with a portable microwave and was able to figure out the cable box and get us all set up. Very responsive management team. Upstairs bed was more comfortable than the one in the downstairs master, and you can sleep with a window open on the second floor (bears are a concern downstairs). We'll likely be back in the summer!
