The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Remove all food you brought in. Take all trash to the outside bins (must be bagged). Take all dirty kitchen, bath, and/or pool towels to the laundry room basket. Don't worry about the beds!
Turn heat to 64 or air conditioning to 76. Load and start the dishwasher. Turn off all tvs, lights and fans. Lock the door behind you.
Double check you packed everything you brought, including phone chargers and pillows (those are the most commonly left belongings!). There's a $10 charge plus shipping for us to return lost items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Well, for starters, the listing very clearly states the pool is closed from early Oct through early March. This gues stayed in December, and it was 30° outside. The pool has been winterized until we are out of the freezing temps. Nobody is swimming. The housekeeper uses the washing machine everytime the house is cleaned, and it works just fine. The mattress is 1½ years old and has been zip covered the entire time. Usually if a guest has issues, we are quick to address them. In fact, we encourage them to let us know immediately so we can address it before they go, but unfortunately there is nothing legitimate here.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area! The host was very responsive. This rental has all of the basics needed, and the location was so close to anything else we needed or wanted to do. The pool house was clean, spacious, and so comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all of the items we needed. Onsite laundry was so convenient. The neighborhood was so quiet, and safe. We will definitely be back again!

Everything you need!

This was a no-frills kind of place. It was very spacious for a one bedroom one bath, very clean, shower had great pressure and loads of hot water. Location was great, and the neighborhood was very quiet and seemed very very safe! Although we didn’t use it, the pool in the backyard was amazing! Definitely would love to stay again

Lots of room, nicer linens though extra waterproofing made bed less comfy. Amazingly well-maintained private pool in a beautiful patio setting. Helpfully equipped kitchen for cooking meals on-site. Would certainly book again if passing through DFW.

My husband and I came in for a two day stay to see Iron Maiden at the Dickies Arena. Bed was comfy, home was clean. Had the basics you need for a short-term stay. Great location, close to Grapevine and the concert site. Would stay again if in the area. Just wish it would have been warmer and we could have tried out the pool. It looks like it would be really nice in season.

The house was not clean. Baseboards were dirty. Lots of spider webs and I killed 3 large spiders in the bedroom in three days. AC doesn't work well and it cycles on and off.Beds and linens were cheap and very uncomfortable. We actually went and bought two pillows on the second day so we could sleep the rest of the week. The pillows provided were only like 3 inches deep and the sheets on the bed were very cheap.When we went to pull out the sofa bed there were food crumbs under the cushions and stains on the mattress cover. My grandson wouldn't even finish pulling out the bed.some of the outlets wouldn't even hold a plug. No good space in the house for drying your hair or putting on make-up.After staying at two VRBO houses in the last 2 years priced at less than 150 a night, I won't do it again.
