Father was airlifted to Mercy Hospital for emergency surgery. Parents live across the state near Thayer. I was able to arrange this at the last minute.
Beautiful decor and room for the entire family. Owner was more than cooperative to our needs. In my Mom's opinion "It was a real blessing!". BTW Dad is fine, as can be at 89.

Not ready to rent
We had to throw food away and eat out several times because the oven and stove were not working. I will say the host did try and delivered on several items that were broken, but honestly this is probably the most challenging stay we have had at a rental. Here are some issues we had, maybe they will get them all fixed, but I would have wanted to know before I booked. 1)Oven does not work at all2)Repair man woke us up3)Owner in the house without us there twice 4)Wii was broken when we arrived. (Received new one on Wednesday, but no batteries for old remotes)5)PS3 only one remote (received new ones on Tuesday)6)House only has two prong plug ins and only two adapters (received new ones on Tuesday)7)Stove top large coil damaged and unusable (also braker was turned off when repair man came and could not use stove on Tuesday most of the day - then we had to wait for him to come back and turn it back on)8)house has a very strong odor - musty, old smell9)pots are are old and Teflon is damaged 10)neighbors dogs start barking every morning at 6:30am11)dining room bench is broken12)no curtain over bathroom window (this was a problem since the neighbors are close and it is a low window)13)there were no instructions or any kind of information about the house (like where to find stuff, local attractions, etc)14)no Tupperware- there are no closing containers to store leftovers 15)A window blind fell in the middle of the night.
