Beautiful location! Loved the creek just steps from the house. The house was cozy with lots of room. The hosts were very easy to work with. They go out of their way to make everything is perfect for their guests. We also loved how the property backs to the forest. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. Hope to return again.

great place has everything you need and is really well equipped. I especially like the outdoor area. It's really huge and there are hammocks overlooking the creek. There is an absolutely amazing fire pit for stargazing, with all these little swings there, so we really liked it there.Two families with kids (7, 9, and 13) and two dogs. That was a perfect perfect place to stay. If next time we come to this part of the state, we'll definitely look to book again.The kids really loved the game room with all the pinball machines and all the arcade games. There is a football there and even a little basketball on the back. Really really nice place for kids.Also the hosts are very responsive and really helpful. The place is sparkling clean. Everything is pretty new and nicely done so 5 out of 5 by all means

Beautiful property with a creek running through it

The Cottage at Gold Run is on a beautiful private property with Gold Run creek running through it. The inside is newly renovated, there is a lot of space for family and kids. Enjoyed the stay and we will be staying again in the future.

Whimsical woodland getaway

We had a great time at this cabin in the woods! Such a beautiful location with lots to do for all ages. Everyone loved the views, exploring the grounds, and we all had a lot of fun in the game room! We will definitely come back next time we visit the area and hope for better weather so we can use the fire pit. Overall, the place had everything we needed and the house was a great fit for us!

Quiet oasis in the mountains

We LOVED this rental from the moment we crossed the private bridge. The sound of the streams, the comfy furniture inside and out, the remodeled bathrooms--everything was just what we wanted. Clear communication with the host too. Highly recommend!

We loved this magical cottage in the woods! Until the owner accused us of taking 2 bath towels and a pillow! We flew in from Florida! We don’t have room for additional baggage!

We inventory everything supplied for each stay. Items were missing, and when asked about them, this guest flew off the handle. So now I charged the guest for the towels and got saddled with a retaliatory review. This is the cost of running a business.

Amazing property located just outside the town limits. The cabin was spacious and had all the amenities of home. The property is well maintained and provides a nice area to walk around. We woke up to a herd of deer outside the back slider door.

We stayed at this cabin after exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park as part of our national parks road trip, and it was a great spot to relax after a day in nature. The location is very remote, which we loved, and the hosts provided excellent directions with visual markers that made finding it easy. Susanville is just a short drive away with plenty of dining and shopping options.We especially enjoyed the cute little water feature near the cabin—it made a peaceful babbling sound while we relaxed on the patio. The comfy egg chairs were a nice touch! The cabin itself feels modern yet woodsy, with plenty of natural light thanks to walk-out doors in two rooms and a skylight in the third.A couple of small notes: we couldn’t get the shooting arcade game to work, and you’ll walk through a garage and across a short walkway to reach the cabin. Neither was a big deal for us, but worth mentioning.Overall, a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful, nature-filled setting.
