Beautiful Week on the Lake
Great cabin with a good selection of lake toys and land toys. Fully equipped kitchen, huge comfortable porch, multiple sleeping configurations. Easy check-in and out. Great communications with the hosts. We’re already booking again for next year!

Fantastic place to just chill!
What a relaxing vacation for our family! Everyone had a blast, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. Evenings by the fire, playing games and just reconnecting. We can't wait to go back!

Bottle Lake Lodge
Bottle Lake Lodge was a fantastic reunion/vacation experience for our multi-generation family! The quiet lake offered great swimming, relaxing fishing and many hours of paddle boarding and kayaking (generously provided by the owners) to explore Bottle Lake and other connecting lakes. Soul-stirring loon calls, the Perseid meteor shower for multiple nights, fire pit conversations and lots of laughter made for special memories! We appreciated the many comfortable Adirondack chairs, multiple comfy throw blankets, the dock, the spacious porch with swings, multiple spacious tables, two refrigerators, the well-equipped kitchen to prepare all our meals, the two charcoal grills, the Rinnai on-demand water heater (We never ran out of hot water!), the pool table, the 8 person game table, the two bathrooms (critical!!), the view of the lake from all the south facing windows, plenty of parking spaces, the thoughtful decor, two dog beds for our beloved rescue dogs & authorization to cuddle on the couch with the pet blanket provided by the owners, dog toys and the sweet surprise of the delicious raspberry bars and a welcome note on the kitchen table that greeted us upon our arrival.

Very spacious for a family holiday
Overall everything was great. There were no face cloths but I guess that was minor. Our family had a wonderful stay. The big porch is where we would gather most of the day when we weren’t swimming or boating.

A great stay at a beautiful place
This lodge was a perfect fit for our family and two small sailboats that my brother has. 14 of us stayed for a week and enjoyed the house and the lake. The dock allowed for easy access to the boats and for swimming. There were tons of towels and the availability of the washer and dryer made everything even more convenient. The owners were very responsive and wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. As a family of folks who like to cook, we were happily surprised to find the wide variety of kitchen utensils that are there, and the bar has a nice selection of bar glasses, cork screws, and shakers. We would definitely recommend the Lodge.

I am Heidi and have been coming to vacation in Maine for over 40 years. After I met my Husband Ed, and he too fell in love with Maine, we decided to buy our little piece of the Vacation-land for ourselves. We found a beautiful Tree House in Springfield Maine which we bought and still own to this day. 2 years later we found this Lodge 20 minutes away and decided to renovate it and give it a new life. The Log Lodge built in the 1940's served as a place to rest for workers, many who came off the lake. Keeping some of the charm from that era including the original siren that was used, we redesigned and renovated the lodge with locally built Amish Furniture and some modern amenities.
My husband Ed and I are from Long Island NY. We are Volunteer K9 Search and Rescue handlers for Long Island Search and Rescue where we aid in the search for missing persons with our Dogs. We are also instructors that teach K9 Mantrailing to Police, SAR, Fire Fighters and Civilians here in the US as well as Europe, Africa and Mexico.

Why they chose this property

Ed and I always dreamed of having a home on the water. However so many of the waterfront homes today are on tiny parcels of land with lots and lots of neighbors within hearing distance of their daily activities. This very private lodge on 2 acres of land will give you lots of privacy. Bottle Lake is one of the few lakes that is not over run with boat traffic allowing wild life like the Loons to live out a peaceful life.

What makes this property unique

The closeness to the Lake is what made us fall in love with this Lodge.
