About this property

Captain's Chest - 5 min to beach - 2bed 2bath Whole house

Secluded property just a few minutes from the beach. The beaches are wonderful with excellent restaurants or shopping experiences. Drive or walk to nearby restaurants. Or just stay in and enjoy the outside patio with barbeque grill and new patio furniture. Centrally located to surrounding restaurants and beaches. One Pet is welcome too!

Pet Policy: We only allow dogs that are potty trained. No other pet types allowed. There is a 1 dog maximum. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a pet. There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee, per pet. It is imperative that dogs are kept on a leash. Please do not allow any pets on furniture, or on bedding. They will need to be crated if left alone at the house.
Also, please make sure any pet waste is picked up, placed in a bag, and disposed of in the pet assigned outdoor trash bin.

Unauthorized Pet Infraction: Transparency is a cornerstone of our business. We also believe in providing fair compensation to our dedicated cleaning team. Any guest found to have brought in pets without prior authorization will face a minimum fine of $200 per pet.

Everything we could have wanted

Really enjoyed our stay at this cute house. The house was very clean and we loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. Small touches like ice in the freezer, Tupperware, and a Brita filter made the stay even more comfortable for us. A very quick ride to the beach too!

Yes, the only issue was the tub drain was slow. I would suggest putting the lamp in the living room on a timer. It’s very dark when you enter at night and the step into the dining room is not easily seen.

Good location close to everything

house was very well equipped. The coffee maker needs to be replaced as it didn't work properly. Location was close to beaches, shops, and shopping.

Nice and Clean

The property was great. We stayed with our 3 year old and 9 month old. The 3 year old loved the bunk beds and the fact that he had his own bathroom. The property was very clean and the updates were nice. Checkin and out process were easy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are staying in Vero Beach!

Weather did not cooperate

The weather was colder than usual so we didn’t make it to the beach much. The house was very nice. The only thing we wished they had are lounge chairs in the backyard. It was cold and windy on the beach but was warmer at the house. We ended up bringing our beach chairs in the patio.

Adorable bungalow with nautical decor. Very clean and well equipped. Great location and neighborhood was walkable. We appreciated the golf umbrellas and cooler as well as bags of ice in the freezer. Host is very responsive. Highly recommend.
