Welcome to San Castle on the South Cape. This 5 bedroom (4 King Beds) 4.5 bath first tier house located in the South Cape with the clearest water, lowest density, and widest beach on the Cape. It is 225 steps to the white sugar sand beaches. With two balconies, you will have plenty of outdoor living space to have coffee in the morning, relax for lunch, or enjoy an evening beverage while savoring the second level's panoramic views of the Gulf waters. Cape San Blas is cherished for being away from the crowds. Perfect for one, two, or even three families, San Castle is a great vacation home.

This house is beautifully furnished to accommodate 12 people comfortably. The ground floor has a king bedroom and full bath. The first level features a master bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom and a flat screen TV. The kitchen, dining, and living areas on the first level provide ample seating for large family meals or watching your favorite shows on the large flat screen. The full screened in porch on the has an outdoor lounger and full dining set for creating a wonderful outdoor experience. You will never get tired of these breath-taking views day or night. Book your unforgettable vacation now at San Castle! On the second level you will find another large master suite featuring a access to a balcony, flat screen TV, large shower. The balcony provides views of the gulf and a quaint seating area your morning coffee time. The other king bedroom includes a flat screen TV and has a shared full bath right outside the door. Also just outside the room is the bayside porch for drinking coffee and watching sunsets. The third bedroom on the second level includes four bunk beds sharing a full bathroom with shower/tub. All second level bedrooms have balcony access and use of the loft area.

Our four generations of family truly enjoyed our time at San Castle for our one week of vacation during the summer! The house was perfectly laid out to accommodate old and young. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a perfect place for the kids to cool off after a day on the beach while the adults whipped up dinner. The beach access was perfect...literally 20 feet from the end of the driveway. With our oldest 78 and our youngest 7 months, we had to have easy access and this house was perfect. I strongly recommend San Castle for a quiet neighborhood family oriented type of stay. And Cape San Blas is a true paradise for nature lovers and those looking for rest and quality time with loved ones. We will be back!

This house was so accommodating and had everything we needed for the beach and in the kitchen. The baby gates and pack n play made our trip so much easier with a toddler running around.

Clean and close to the beach

San Castle was perfect for our February month long stay. The ocean can be seen and heard from the outside balconies. The trail to the beach is only a few feet from the driveway, allowing for long morning walks on the beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything necessary to prepare meals. We liked it so much, we booked it for next year!

The review is not accurate. San Castle has ample parking but,unfortunately, Tiffany brought 3 boats, 3 trailers and an suv. He group pulled a post out of the ground order to back into the yard near the septic and was asked to move an suv from blocking the walkover entrance at the front of the property. Her review reflects her being $80 for a service call to repair the post. This is the only money I've ever charged any guest for any unexpected event.

Ohio family loves Cape San Blas

We have stayed in many Cape San Blas homes over the years. This was by far the best equipped kitchen ever! Kitchen was very clean and had everything you need. Layout of home was perfect. Thank you hosts for a wonderful week.

Great Place to Stay

This place was so great! Right next to the beach. The pool was amazing. I really liked that they had some many kitchen items available, which I usually don't see at beach rentals. Dan was also really great to communicate with. My family loves Cape San Blas and I will most definitely look at booking this place in the future!

Positives:CleanResponsive hostComfortable beds Lots of beach equipment. Chairs, towels, umbrellas. The one in the tan bag is hands down the best beach umbrella I’ve ever used. The beach cart is top tier. Take good care of the beach cart, it is the MVP of your trip down to the beach. They really did have almost everything we needed to go down to the beach. The house is very close to the beach access. The pool was the perfect size for our family and had enough space for the 4 yr old and the adults to enjoy. Negatives: Some of the pots and pans were pretty beat up, but that’s kind of expected in a beach rental unfortunately. This mostly wasn’t an issue except for the night we did a bigger dinner. The house has dual zone ac which is great, but the downstairs bedroom was pretty warm compared to the other rooms in the house once you closed the door at night. Nothing fans didn’t solve though. Beach access is close, but the path is very long because they have a very healthy dune. This is amazing, I just wish the HOA would maybe plank the walk way and a railing would be nice on the raised section. If traveling with pets, be advised, there is almost no grass around the neighborhood and burrs in the taller grassed areas. Location:I think a large part of enjoying this rental is knowing the location. We had never been to port st Joe before and were somewhat caught off guard by the prices at piggly wiggly. We made one big trip to pcb for Walmart and used the DG.

We appreciate your practical notes on the cookware and the downstairs airflow—fans are definitely great helpers there, but we will look into updating the pots and pans for future guests. Regarding the walk down to the water, the house is situated directly in front of the beach walkover for convenience. One of the absolute best things about Cape San Blas is its stunning, expansive white beaches—and while that healthy dune system creates a slightly longer walk, preserving those gorgeous sands is what makes the coast so special. We also take a lot of pride in keeping the rental price of the house extremely reasonable, especially considering it offers direct Gulf views. Thanks again for staying with us and for sharing your tips on local groceries and pet walks for future guests!

Wonderful time

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at San Castle. We were so ecstatic that the house came with beach chairs and towels for all, a wagon and an umbrella. It made for light packing. The pool was perfect size. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful home.

Wonderful stay!

Stayed here with 12 other family members and 2 pups. This was a great stay for our big group. We got a ton of use out of the pool, which was clean and well kept. It was perfect proximity to the beach too. The house is directly across the street from the beach access path, a short 2 min walk to the beach. It was also well equipped with 12 beach chairs and a beach wagon - made our lives easier! Appreciate the easy and responsive communication with the property manager. We would love to stay here again!

Great communication with the host! We received prompt responses to all our questions. House was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. We did pick up a few extra dish towels to supplement the supply at the house. Beach path was well maintained and so conveniently located right in front of the house. Pool was fantastic as well. Let me start with how beautiful the area is and how convenient the beach access was, the pool was a great gathering spot throughout the day as well. San Castle has everything you need for a perfect vacation from a well equipped kitchen, multiple bedrooms and baths, several gathering areas for the family to relax and all beach accessories (beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach cart) for that perfect beach day. Make sure to check out the local shops and fill up on seafood from one of the several restaurants to choose from. Thank you San Castle for a wonderful vacation, we enjoyed our stay and plenty of memories made.

Awesome vacation with 4 couples

The San Castle was spotless and roomy with 4 king bedrooms and a bunk room + 4 1/2 baths there was plenty of room for everyone. A short walk on the path to the beach and we enjoyed daily surf fishing and fun in the sun then back to the house to grill out and hang by the heated pool. We Would recommend the San Castle to anyone looking for a great vacation place for a large group and we plan to return soon! PS: Don't need to bring anything they have everything you could possibly need, beach chairs, umbrellas & buggy, grill w/charcoal and fluid, spices, coffee pots, all appliances and utensils literally everything!

Perfect!

San Castle lives up every 5 star review. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The house has everything you could possibly need and the location is amazing in a quiet neighborhood and right across from the private beach access path. The pool area is modern and the water crystal clear. You can be on the beach in about two minutes and have all the gear needed for relaxing or some adventure, all included with the house. Highly recommend!!

The San Castle house was absolutely the perfect place to stay on the Cape. The house was so clean, nice furnishings, great layout/plenty of space, & the pool was an added bonus. The quiet neighborhood & beautiful surroundings makes this a great place to rent! The beach access/walkover was literally in front of the house. The house had so many beach items like, chairs, cart, umbrella, & more that’s made it easy to walk to the beach. We enjoyed our week there & didn’t want to leave! The owner & come to the cape site was great to work with & made it easy to book! Thanks again & we will be back soon!

Perfect!

This home was perfect for a week in Cape San Blas. We were walking distance to 3 other homes of friends all vacationing together for Spring Break. Everything was clean and new and well cared for. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for making meals for the family. Having the beach chairs and beach towels there and available was really invaluable when traveling. The heated pool was great for days when the beach was too windy and cold. The views were awesome and we were a short walk to the beach just down the path out our front door. Would definitely stay here again if we were to ever return to this area!

Beautiful home and relaxing stay

The property owner has thought of all the kid & family friendly needs you may have. There was a nice high chair, pack & play, toddler friendly cups, plates, utensils. Plenty of beach towels, a large cooler, beach chairs, lightweight beach wagon. It was our first time to Cape San Blas, we loved the state park bay beach for a double red flag day. We rented a paddleboard and the kids loved exploring the bay. We loved the area and would love to return to this property in the future. Great communication with the owner when we had A question. Easy check in and check out. Fully stocked kitchen.
