About Margaret Walker
I am the only owner for the Little Eazy guest house and am pleased that Homeaway honored all requests to return the money to the guests who had to cancel due to the corona-virus. I am not here to rip people off, of course I want my customers to come back! Repeat guests are my favorite...
Margaret Walker purchased this cottage in 2004
Why Margaret Walker chose Faubourg Marigny
I fell in love with New Orleans on my first visit to New Orleans in 1988. After coming to New Orleans frequently I quit staying in hotels and preferred to have my own place. The Little Eazy was owned by Charles and Diana, and it became my second home on my visits to Nola. When I was talking to Diana one day, I told her I would love to own a house in New Orleans and she told me they were thinking of selling the Little Eazy. So my husband and I bought it and continue to run it as a guest house. I love owning it, I get to meet some very unique people. People who like to like to do things a little different, and who prefer to see a local view of the city.
What makes this cottage unique
I love the hot tub on the back patio. When guests are not visiting, I am able to relax in it, listen to music, and I sleep like a baby. It is so special to sit in the swing on the front yard, to look at the garden, sip wine while conversing with guests and friends. We watch the mules & carriages go by, as they head back to the stables in the evening. It such a unique New Orleans experience.
